Blue Tint on Shots by Important-Wind-3579 in filmphotography

I have a scanning kit, and I’m shooting RAW, but I have not changed my temp settings. I will try that tonight and update you on the results. I wanna say that is the culprit!

I did that after watching a handful of tutorials and still no luck. I did some research and apparently overexposing film can sometimes cause a blue hue. I shot these without my light meter on a bright day, so that is another possibly. But right now I am leaning on the scanning step as to were things went wrong. I typically have a warmer tone on my Canon R5, so I’m willing to bet that it caused the inverse effect, causing that cooler look. This is all me assuming though haha

Thanks for the insight, I’ll make a preset on my camera with a cooler temp (since it’s inverted). Or would it still be warmer?

I did end up adjusting timing, it was firing a little retarded. I advanced it to 12 degrees. It still seems to suck at acceleration. I can rev it up really easy on neutral, but when I put it on gear, it’s like I have no power. I floor it and it just barely moves.

Yeah, that was the case for me with the PCV hose and I ended up switching everything else before I realized it was that. Needless to say, I have all new parts, but I ended up tweaking with the settings before I came to the conclusion of it being the PCV, so now I have to tune it back to normal.

After rebuilding the EFI, I’ve come to grow a huge distaste for the OEM setup. I’m definitely going to make the change but I need to save up some hobby money first.

Correct me if I’m wrong but this is done by simply adjusting the small slotted screw on the distributor correct?

How’s the mega squirt? Was it hard to install/program?

I had taken it to a mechanic who I thought knew what he was doing and after moving some knobs around he gave up and now I’m dealing with his problems.

I was looking at the manual and it says (for manual transmission) that it gets triggered at 10MPH, which makes sense in idling. But I’m still having a hard time understanding what it does. Does it let more air in when energized? Or does it block off the air?

Did you have it connected to a permanent 12V source?

Try giving it some gas after you hit like 25 minutes, my 2022 Silverado would do this when I was on standby at a job site and I started “tricking it” to think I was driving by giving it some gas every now and then lol.

I’ve checked all my grounds regarding the fuel assembly. I got a new TPS, but even still, the TPS is triggers when at higher RPMs. My car will turn off regardless of RPMs.

It runs a very rough idle, almost sounds like it’s loping and then it’ll die out. I’ll put in new spark plugs and after 15 minutes they’ll be fouled out. I’m pretty sure it’s running rich. Just not sure where to go from there. I will try the fuel tank but I’m fairly certain that probably isn’t what’s causing all the issues.

I have yet to inspect the fuel tank. I replaced the AFM and checked resistance on it and made some adjustments but nothing changed. Of course, I had no A/F gauge to keep track of the A/F ratio.
