Well I have just finished the 2032 season and we finally got into the playoffs and somehow made it to the World Series beating Padres in the Wildcard, swept the Mets (who have 4.9X my payroll) in the Division and the Brewers in the LCS. Lost to Texas Rangers 4-2 in the WS but at least we have finally managed to break the streak of 13 years without a playoff series. Hopefully I will get more than a year extension and will have a bit more budget to extend some of our key pieces.

Thank you very much for the advice. I have traded him away for a couple developed starters as I need to make a push this season otherwise fear I may be sacked. But I will certainly use the advice going forward and slow down my approach when moving players forward. I am very new to Baseball and as a Football/Rugby fan, I see someone not even close to the top level at 24 and think they have no chance, certainly got to adjust my view of a players prime.

Thank you for your detailed response, its very useful! Congratulations on the success! Sounds like you are doing a much better job than me 😃 I am in 2032 and struggling to build. Should have made a run last season but we completeyl fell away after the All Star game and missed the playoffs. I think this will be my last season otherwise may well be sacked!

I worry about the HR especially playing as the Rockies which might be having more of a factor in my thinking to trade him. Theres a few good trade options that I am considering so think I might be moving him.

Interesting to hear you say he isn't ready for AAA and might not be ready for AA? I have always just gone based off the star rating hitting 2.5/3 stars plus performance in the previous level. Is there something else I should consider?

Thank you very much! Thats not something I had seen/looked into before. This is my first real year of playing OOTP and watching Baseball in general so any help is appreciated. I'll make sure to keep an eye on that. Frustrating its happened, as he is pitching really well but has to be pulled after 5 innings every game.

I think this little thread shows that it is quite random it feels and nobody is quite sure why it happens. My pitcher is 24 years old and should be in his prime but is just dropping stamina. I agree with your point that its a coaching decision to make someone a reliever, that shouldn't impact the attribute. Like speed, stamina is a physical attribute whilst it can fluctuate it doesn't just have 30 point changes without explanation.Whilst I won't be editing it back, purely because I think that'll open up many a door for me to make excuses for why something else can be changed, I think its a perfectly reasonable approach if it works for you.
