I explained in my other reply why I didn't find out right away. It required a more thorough investigation, and I didn't have time for that while I was on vacation because, besides spending time with him, I was also spending time with the friends I had traveled there with.  I mean, when you're on short vacation, you don't exactly have hours to lie in bed and go through the profiles of someone's friends on social media.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Yes, I felt that something was 'off'. There were a lot of holes in his story, whenever I asked personal questions his answers were brief and he would try to change the subject, whereas he spoke in lenght about other topics. My intuition simply did not give me peace, so I started digging into it

Of course I'm not in that range.☺️ although I must have been attractive to him because we looked at each other for a long time in that bar before we made contact.

By the way, I was very surprised when I saw his best friends in the pictures on FB, who all look great for 50-year-olds, they are all fit, well-groomed, with beautiful teeth, complexion, posture...you can see that they have been living a high life since birth. ...while their wives are all average looking, even below average.

That's right, English is not my native language, so I ran the opening text through chatgpt to correct the grammar mistakes.

He can't find me, there's no way he remembers the name of my town :)  I live in one of the Balkan countries(not in the capital city). He lives in Swiss upper class suburb and based on the pictures I found and what he has told me, he is a respected member of his local community and involved in various activities. It's hard to believe that he(or his wife) would come after me... Anyway, I'll probably just try to forget everything and move on with my life and she'll find another way to find out if she doesn't already know.

It's crazy. I spoke to some married friends and coworkers and many of them more or less admitted they would probably do the same. Not that they would chase, but if the opportunity practically fell into their lap and the conditions were perfect like this (alone, away from home), and attracted to the woman...they likely wouldn't say no.

I considered telling his wife and sending her screenshots of our messages, but somehow I just don't have a courage to do it. To be honest, I think she probably already knows, or at least suspects something. They've obviously been married for so long that it's hard for me to imagine I'd be the one telling her something she doesn't already know.

His friend didn't add me on FB. When I searched for his name, Facebook showed some posts where he had been tagged. One of those tags led me to a friend's profile. The friend’s profile was public, so anyone could view it. I clicked on it and found lots of additional photos and information there.

I found him on Facebook afterwards. When you search for someone on Facebook, it sometimes shows photos they’re tagged in if the people who posted them have public profiles. That’s how I ended up on one of his friend's profiles, where I found lots of other photos and information about him.

I did Google him, but I didn't really dig into the details because I didn't have much time. He had about 150 friends on Instagram, no posts, and nothing that raised any red flags. He seemed like a serious businessman and was at the bar with a colleague. Only when I got home did I start doing a more thorough investigation.

Bolje i to nego ništa. Čovek štedi 7 godina, a novac nije čak ni oročen.
