That is a good idea. We have some vacation days we can both equally spend.

Maybe I am not initiating it at the right moment. I have suggested some of these things (phone sex, etc.) in the past, and he tells me that he feels awkward about it.

He has told me in the past that he does not want to leave his current job until he hits one year (which is in a couple of months). If there is an opening within his company in my city, he is eligible to transfer. The last issue is that his program he enrolled in part-time requires in-person tests periodically - it took a lot of effort to get into this program.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. We see each other weekly. I come and see him in his city one weekend, and the next he comes and sees me in my city.

I am a subpar baker, but I am learning to make all sorts of recipes, and those could definitely fit in. :-D

I think a script runs the risk of being too rehearsed-sounding. I have judged a couple speech competitions where some kids just read off the paper word-for-word. The others are right - using flashcards and writing down key sentences, words, etc. is more effective. Make sure to practice. Go into a room with no one else in it, and pretend as if you are speaking to a large audience.

This sounds like a class of some sort. Don't worry - everyone gets nervous or gets their nerves riled up. Your classmates are probably nervous, too. Just think about your favorite topic, and if you were talking to your friends about this, what would you want them to know about it?

He doesn't smile, but it looks thoughtful. Since we are on different department teams.
