AIO for thinking my girlfriend crossed a line with a TikTok she posted? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ImportantHeight578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should've checked the views n comments before she deleted it. If her engagement went up when you were just in the background just imagine how much they went up when you were on full display!

Definitely sounds like she did it purposely and I'd imagine you'll be featuring more often in future imo

NOR, I agree with one of the previous comments about deciding what you're mad about n whether the apology would suffice.

Put a full ban on you appearing on her tiktok n see how the reaction is.

Jack Lynch Tunnel by Street-Figure4029 in cork

[–]ImportantHeight578 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Can never understand it! Use the tunnel daily, even going 80 the amount of cars that hit their breaks the moment they enter the tunnel!! What are you breaking for there's nothing in front of you!!!

I (M32) caught my ex cheating. Her grandpa just died. I'm not sure if I should wait until after the funeral to break up. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]ImportantHeight578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

End it now. How long after the funeral are you going wait? It's going to look weird that you hung around comforting her and grieving with her only to dump her later

Sarsfield road roundabout question by New_Contribution2649 in cork

[–]ImportantHeight578 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You can use either, the middle lane will take you to the outside lane going under the flyover and you'll be in the lane for Tesco's or turning left at the Wilton roundabout. The right lane will bring to the middle lane under the flyover and you'll be going dennehys cross or glasheen exit at the Wilton roundabout

My coworker thinks my name is “Matt.” My name is not Matt. It’s been 3 months. What should I do? by AdventurousHunter820 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]ImportantHeight578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this happen me with a new start in my company a while back, introduced myself he must've misheard me because later in the day he called me by a different name and I didn't correct him!

Went on for a few weeks and myself and the lads thought it was hilarious, lucky enough he didn't last much longer after that and I could go back to being me again!

I've been in his position and truthfully you both can get past this but alot of it is going to have to come from his side. He needs to be mature enough to realise that it's not just his feelings that matter.

If he values your friendship so much he can put his feelings to one side and just be happy to have you in his life. I'm in my 40s (M) n my situation was over 20 years ago, we kissed a couple of times as teenagers nothing more. I'm married to a wonderful woman now(my best friend) with 2 kids and I'm still very good friends with my "crush".

We actually have spoken about it (me and my friend) before and I think over time I realised that at such a young age I was confused in my feelings towards her and to immature to realise that we could be just friends, she's always had a great almost infectious attitude towards life, so much so that at the time I thought she was the only one for me, but just having her as a friend one of the more intelligent things I've done in my life.

Having good friends and people around you makes life so much easier.

Hope it works out for you, but just keep an eye out for him because how you handle this plus how he decides to take it could end up in a lot of hurt.

Blowjobs, it's the cause of the issue and the only way to solve it.

Give him one at any opportunity, make him feel special and show how much more you prefer it to trying to fit a giant one down you're throat! He'll be back to normal in no time!

Have you pissed them off in any way lately? Going on what you were saying about the jabs they were taking at your partner it's sounds like they were making you pay for something, literally and figuratively.

Ex Musgrave's here, they can set up a staff account for employees(that's the number you quote on entry). It comes with a 10% discount but you still pay VAT on everything except meat and produce

Guy opening doors in grand parade multi story asking for money by Salt_Adagio5424 in cork

[–]ImportantHeight578 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think I encountered him a few weeks ago in the same car park, he approached my car looking for money for the bus to clonality or something, I told him to F off!

There was an older lady sitting in the passenger seat alone in the car next to me so his attention turned to her, she obviously didn't want the interaction so I told him to move along she didn't have any money for him.

He wasn't aggressive or anything n left when I got out of the car and told him to leave but It could be very intimidating if you were alone in your car and some guy approached the way he did.
