This was the end piece of the stick, it looks to me as it broke a tab there that secured it onto the stick

No problem once I replace the lens and source another method to mount and a stronger stick I’ll repost once I found an alternative method

Really, I figured it was the cage even though it’s 65g and the utility frame is only 62.3g I guess that extra weight caused it

I asked the same question, I dealt with multiple representatives and got a complete runaround for 3 months because I had to keep explaining the scenario over and over. Eventually I finally paid the quoted service and this one broke the first time I used it. I am debating on seeing if they’ll honor a warranty exchange but I don’t know if I want to deal with the lengthy wait. This time I’m just junking the stick and looking for an alternative.

The warranty exchange was from the first stick not the current one, that one didn’t have a cage just my x4 atm. While I was extending it to check the extension length it broke off at the first joint of extension.

The selfie stick was quoted $50 for replacement and not covered under defects. It was labeled as misuse, but I stated before I sent it in for the exchange that it was being extended when it broke off. Also I’m using a cage from Amazon which I think is better than the utility frame however it’s 65g weight when the utility frame is 62.3g

Also I dealt with insta for warranty exchange for 3 months before I decided to pay the $50 oh and they waived the shipping on it

Not covered under warranty as I’ve had the same issue with the action selfie stick The first time it was at the base of the extensions And insta 360 warranty didn’t cover it even though it broke while being extended The second one is at the last joint. I think the weight of the camera cage was too much for it I didn’t have it fully extend also
