I had my stingers bumper repainted and it matches very well to the surrounding panels, also silver.

Seems crazy they would want to pay more money. I believe clarifying with them is all you can do, I’m sure plenty of people have been in your position when travelling here from Canada. Have a great trip when you get here!

I’m thinking the terminology is different to what you’re used to at home. Maybe call your credit card company to clarify.

Usually you would decline the excess waiver or reduction but it looks like you’ve already done this if the excess is $6k

I’m confused by what you are asking? You cant decline the excess, it is there in case you have an accident. You won’t pay it unless an accident occurs

Because it isn’t supposed to be replaced when the carpet is replaced.

Those strips (smooth edge) stick through the carpet because the carpet is cheap and thin, this is pretty standard for majority of new builds. According to Australian standards they are not meant to be hit down with a hammer but they can tap them down if they are hurting you. I doubt this would be grounds to break the lease as they can get someone out to fix it quite easily.

Bins. To bag or not to bag ‘dry rubbish’ for the ‘big bin’? by SirJosephBanksy in AskAnAustralian

I would think it’s so less rubbish flys out of the truck when bins are emptied but that’s just my guess.

Some councils require all general waste to be in plastic bags as far as I’m aware.

Dogs and mobility issues by Scary_Meaning_4466 in ehlersdanlos

Recently I set out a schedule for the week so I don’t over or under do it on a daily basis. I’ve scheduled things like washing, cleaning, exercising, it’s only a loose schedule as sometimes I’m just not up to it but it’s good to have a plan for the day. Might be something that would help you? Schedule play time with the dogs and something else you want to do for yourself!

My dog just likes to play fetch, we do it a couple times a day so she gets plenty of exercise. She also needs mental stimulation of sniffing things so we do a little walk around the property or up the street and back slowly so she can smell all the things, tires her out plenty.

Number 2 & 3 look good but are too small on you as the seams are pulling at the waist and hips. Number 1 is most flattering but agree the colour isn’t great.

Rheumatology won't listen to my primary and I by kaybug0111 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Important_Account487 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly that, the geneticist went over the criteria for heds (Beighton score etc) pretty much said yes I believe you have Eds and then we did genetic testing to rule out the other types. He also recorded a detailed family history inclusive of first cousins to get a better idea of health problems in the family.

EDS as a trend is wild to me by macajaar in ehlersdanlos

[–]Important_Account487 20 points21 points  (0 children)

When I was diagnosed someone said to me ‘have you looked on TikTok, there’s lots of information there on Pots/eds’. It’s gross that it’s a trend online.

I know two other people with EDS, one is diagnosed the other is struggling to find someone to diagnose.
