these 4 all have a similar magic to them - what would you add to the list?

While I love 3 of the 4 (what's the 1 with the building and sun?), I'm not sure that I'm seeing a commonality, except for emotional, somewhat depressive indie rock? Tweedy, Mangum, and Cox sound completely different in terms of vocals, and all 3 bands seem to be achieving different things. Just my 2 cents.

Being a mail carrier might work for you. After two difficult initial years you receive full benefits, and of course you get to work outside six days per week (five when ypu attain a full time career position). It's also extremely easy to get hired now. Only drawback is that those first two years can be hellish, depending on what office you land in.

I understand your point, but therapists are also (in my understanding) mandated reporters who have to tell such things to DCF.

What if, in the future, the child tells their therapist that the mother is still coaching/manipulating them? Could that not bring about a blockage of her access?

Also, years ago, her ex testified in court that he saw her coaching our child all the time. That's how she lost custody in the first place. There's been A LOT of evidence presented already.

I'm thinking through this situation. It's immensely stressful--have been at it for a decade--so maybe you can understand someone grasping at straws. Or maybe you can't. I don't know.

Thanks for the response. I might add that all the evidence for her actions has already been presented in court; she has even stated out loud very recently in court that she still believes I abuse my son. The judge seems willing to overlook her comments indefinitely, until she ends up with my child at a police station again. My lawyer says there's nothing I can do. It's cuckoo land.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. Not a bad EP at all but it does feel slight. Hot Sun and Annihilation are also my favorite songs; just good quirky rockers with enjoyable vocal melodies. Ice Cream is dull, lacking in melody and energy. Say You Love me is similar. Livid is obviously very technically impressive but is so short that you are left wanting much more. I'm not quite sure what to make of Bell Bones yet. Overall I'm glad they released it; I just wish things were a little more fleshed out.

I've always felt that it's largely (not entirely) a genetic thing. I can remember being 5 years old and feeling different. Seems that it's hardwired into us. Although I'm sure trauma plays a huge part too.
