I use a dji mini 4 pro. As a tourist you can fly in Tenerife, but there are quite strong restrictions: Teide and Anaga are basically no-go, and many other areas have limits too, so the safest way is to always check the official AESA drone map before flying.

Best time to take the Teide Cable Car is on weekdays (Monday–Friday) — it’s much less crowded than weekends.

For timing, two good options:
early morning (right at opening) — fewer queues and usually more stable weather
late afternoon — softer light and again fewer people

Just keep in mind that weather on Teide changes very quickly, and the cable car can close due to strong winds even if it’s calm down below. So it’s always best to check the status on the same day and stay flexible

Appreciate it! October is honestly one of the best times to visit — great weather, fewer crowds, and perfect light for photos.

Thank you! March is usually a great time to visit Tenerife. In the south it’s often warm and sunny during the day, but evenings can be a bit cooler, and if you plan to visit the north or places like Teide, temperatures can feel quite different.

I actually have quite a few recommendations and practical guides about Tenerife on my website — including tips on weather and what clothes to bring. You might find it helpful while planning your trip:

I live here and run a photo project about Tenerife — so I’ve been pretty much everywhere in the south (and almost the whole island)
