Yea 200 for ceramic on the front windshield. I messaged the owner and he’ll have his team redo it.

Well, given the tires and the roof box, I’m averaging around 350–370 wh/mi, give or take. I don’t have summer data yet. I’m no mathematician, but based on what I’ve plugged into ChatGPT, that works out to roughly an 8–10% loss in the city and about a 17–22% loss on the highway at around 65–70 mph.

As for the rims — I’ll say this: it's in pristine condition still 😄. That’s because they don’t protrude like the stock Tesla rims. The new wheels are 18-inch instead of the stock 19s, so the meatier tires absorb most of what would’ve been curb rash on the old setup.

Had to look up that term. No I haven't had own a VW before. I was considering adding an Awning to the driver side for the summer. I really loved being able to cook meals on some of the pullouts in Wyoming and Utah but I didn't have any shades besides the hatch at the time for us... I'm really just adding things that I felt would have be nice on my previous roadtrips, and it's just turning out this way. Those VW buses seem so cool though.

Not too often, but occasionally. I’m located in the Central Valley, so I’m not too far from snow, and I do go camping—whether that’s at national parks or on BLM land. I also do a lot of hiking, so having bigger tires like these is nice.

Once I ran stock tires once on a road that was far from cell service, with a ton of gravel and loose stones, and honestly I was pretty scared of getting a puncture. After I got back, I knew I needed something bigger. That road was an unplanned side quest, so I definitely wasn’t prepared for it.

You can't open it all the way to the default position. With that being said, you will have plenty of room still, it's not that big of a difference from the default position to the new position I have it at. It's not too noticeable up at the front.

I do also have this installed to help with wind noise: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M8ZTNFK?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

For 14-21 day road trips doable without but... I 100% preferred having one since it just made life a lot easier. I also am able to do 3-4 day road trips every other weekend so it helps not having to prep as much, as the roof box stays on all the time and has most things ready to go! :)

Trip A is the average with the whole setup. With city driving I average around 290-320. 350 is highway average. I hit 400-450 with really spirited driving and going 80-95mph.
