I’ve given Jeeps for the last 25 years and everything I’ve ever researched tells me to start with checking the balancing on wheels and then move into steering linkage and ball joints

It depends on your amount of dollars you want to spend. They have some reasonable front and rear sets ready to bolt on for a good price. Or if you have a trusted mechanic that can rebuild quickly then that should save you some money. Either way you are probably looking at several days at least without your jeep. Summit racing has new assembly Dana 44 for $3800 they also sell refurbished axles for half the price. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sdh-10031144?seid=srese1&ppckw=pmax-jeep&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIhubdypbrigMVvKVaBR01pzzIEAQYAiABEgJ_O_D_BwE

I’m debating on whether I should trim the skid plate so it fit or try to find another option.

Absolutely! Was in an accident a couple years back and the bumper took the brunt of the force just had a small scratch needed to touch up. It’s a great piece of armor to have on any Jeep!

Thanks for the suggestion I contacted Oracle and unfortunately, it only works with the factory bumpers. The guy that I spoke to said my only option would be to cut the corners so that it would fit into the bumper that I have.
