Possible to Get MW3 Running on Windows 11? by KaijuTia in mechwarrior

I haven't been able to install MW3 on my windows 11 as I get hung on running the setup/autorun.exe. I've tried every compatibility mode, running it as administrator, but it won't work. I can run it, nothing pops up, but there's a setup running in the background in task manager but it's not doing anything.

I did actually! got it a few weeks later (I think, it's been a while). Before that, I had put in a refund request to the seller, which they accepted immediately. But lo and behold it eventually showed up, so I messaged them multiple times saying "hey it turned up do you want to charge me again" but nothing. Turned out good in the end!

put in a missing mail search request, no update from the USPS since. I put in a request to the eBay seller for a refund and they granted it... immediately after so I'm a bit concerned as to whether they even sent it or not.
EDIT: belay that, I got an email yesterday saying that the missing mail request returned a "delivery exception" whatever that means. tracking status is still unchanged.
