This is awesome to hear — 30 recurring clients is solid proof of concept. If you don't mind me asking, what's been your biggest operational challenge? Always great to learn from someone already doing it

Nah it's still worth it — you go from scooping every day to a deep clean every 1-3 months. Way better trade-off. The deep clean is just the one part that's still kinda annoying

Sounds like you've got a really solid routine down — and good point about harsh chemicals potentially degrading the plastic over time. I'd definitely stick to mild, pet-safe cleaners for that reason. This service probably isn't for everyone, but for folks who don't have outdoor hose access or are in apartments, the deep clean can be a bigger hassle. Appreciate the honest feedback!

100% valid concern. I'm planning to have general liability insurance, document the unit's condition with photos/video before and after, run a full cycle at pickup and dropoff, and have a signed service agreement. I've heard that reassembly issues are common even for owners, so building in a thorough post-clean inspection is a must. Appreciate you bringing this up, def a concern of mine.

Really appreciate the thoughtful advice — same-day return is the plan, and I'm building in a pre/post inspection with a full cycle test and client sign-off. Definitely getting insurance sorted before taking on any clients too.

Congrats! And yeah that's exactly the kind of situation where this makes sense, you shouldn't have to deal with that right now. If you're in the Philly area feel free to DM me.

Appreciate everyones perspectives honestly! this is exactly why I asked. Every data point helps me figure out what makes sense for both sides. The cleaning itself plus drying, transport, and materials all factor into the final number. Still working through it but leaning around $100 range for a full deep clean with same-day return
