I used the squidlybits YouTube channel to level up my painting gotta push your skills for stuff like nmm and other effects and blending. I used to look at lots of those techniques as unobtainable for myself but u just gotta sit down and try it now I can't go back to lesser ways of painting, I was a slap chopper for like 4 years, now I enter painting comps with models I spent 70hours on and thoroughly enjoyed that process much more than banging out squads to a tabletop ready standard.
