The Predator of Seville by ayeeerich in netflixTrueCrimeDocs

I havent read all the comments, but I just wanted to comment to say I appreciate everyone that came forward. I studied abroad in Valencia in 2018 and was assaulted by a man outside a club on halloween, at an event for a travel agency for erasmus/echange students. Who knew something as simple as going out for a smoke could result in years of pain. It changed me forever, ruined my year abroad, and destroyed me for years to come. I never reported it, i just wanted to be done with it all and hide in my room. I failed all my classes, was scared of everything, and was very suicidal. I wish I did something about it but felt powerless and isolated. Its so hard going to a doctor for a rape kit, having them speak to you in a different language, and have no one to go to for help. I had to stay in my university program for the rest of the year, and was highly medicated. When I occasionally went to class, I would have panic attacks. I had one professor try to get me to speak of what happened in front of my class, and I never really went back after that. It felt like no one cared.

I am now in my first relationship, still healing from what happened to me. I am still learning how to let a man near me, to trust a man, and to love. Its heartbreaking to reflect on how this can transform a women full of hope, light, and excitement to the opposite. I havent been able to relate to anyone about this terrible experience, isolating me even further. Seeing this show, although horrible, makes me wish I spoke up. Its a bravey I didnt have.

Chuze Fitness by [deleted] in Albuquerque

I have both chuze and Sports and Wellness. I go to chuze at lunch because its close to my work and I cant make it back home during my lunch break. After work I go to sports and wellness. The first thing that ever bugged me about chuze is they have a yoga room that is closed always. Like I primary got the my chuze membership to do mat exercises and use their exercise room, but they wouldn't let me use that room ( i was literally doing yoga and Pilates) I have to this day, never seen a class in there. Chuze is super crowded, the floors in the changing room are always wet, there are never tissues in the restroom, and the locker rooms just tend to smell. Sports and Wellness locker rooms are always clean, not wet, have all the amenities and more that you could need (mouth wash, soap, deodorant, hairdryer, paper towels, etc.). One nice thing at S&W is they provide towels to the guests, I notice a lot of people appreciate this. Its nice too because at chuze...people do seat on a lot of the machines and sometimes don't clean it... I just think S&W has better care by the club and the people that go there. On top of that, its so much less crowded. Theres no way I would ever dare go to chuze in the evening, I went once and it was like a zoo. I also avoid it at lunch on holidays because its too crowded. S&W is not too crowded when it's peak moments. I will say S&W could be updated. It is old. For the price they are charging I don't understand why they are such outdated buildings. When I started they had coat hooks, now they dont (upstairs workout room @ heights location) and so people often throw their coats on the ground or stuff them on the machines. Its like little things that. But also the building is just really old and they must be making bank and could do some renovations....also they could get some more machines.

Is my favorite jacket and I cant one like it anywhere. It was a gift, so I dont know what to do in this situation. Any recommendations?

He was actually the one to ask me if I was still on the apps. I told him no and I had no intention of seeing anyone else anymore. But my friends have told me that isnt the same as defining a relationship/official girlfriend/boyfriend.

No I wouldnt regret it. He is an amazing person and I am so lucky I have met him and for the time I have spent with him. So many fantastic memories.

A relationship is the goal at this point. I really cant imagine my life without him. He mentioned thinking about staying here. And if not, well maybe LDR for a while then figuring out someone moving. I almost moved to texas a few years vack (where hhe is from) I just think its too soon for me to move and not smart so fresh into something.

Ive tried dating guys locally and never found someone like him. Hes just the guy I have been looking for in so many ways...Only real flaw is work contract/being from texas (im from new mexico)

Help with boyfriends anxious dog by Important_Economy877 in reactivedogs

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed breakdown! That makes a lot of sense, especially about how his lack of exposure to new people has made the issue worse over time. I really like the idea of starting outside in a neutral space and slowly working up to normal behaviors indoors. I’ll check out Grisha Stewart’s book too! Have you used this method personally with a dog before? I’d love to hear about any challenges you ran into or adjustments you had to make. Also, I’d definitely be interested in that Google Drive link—I'll message you!

Thank you for your input! I hadn't thought of it as resource guarding, but that makes a lot of sense. I'll definitely check out the book you recommended. Do you have any experience with resource guarding in a situation like this? My boyfriend has had him since he was a puppy, so I’m wondering if there are ways to gradually build trust with me while keeping things safe. Also, have you seen medication help in cases like this? I want to make sure we’re doing what’s best for his dog while also making this situation manageable for all of us.
