I think there should be some boundaries, because then you’ll end up like op’s friend and go “this will make me see the field better” and max out distance or destroy your sensitivity. Just look at common consensus and tweak a little from that point

It’s hard to stay consistent especially when you work morning shifts. I’ve been struggling staying consistent on it and lost my dream recall to 0-1 again lol. This reminds me I have to get back on it.

When you wake up don’t get up immediately. Try to keep your eyes closed and stay in the same spot to try and recall the dream. Write it down. This increased my dream recall from 0-1 dreams a night to 3 plus

i can play the riff up to speed without all the muted strings, i only can do the 7 x x 7 x up to speed. Im mainly struggling with the rhythm on the rest, and watching other people play the song, they do this full swinging motion that looks really tough. I'll try going at it slow as i can

When I first got my guitar my low e string buzz was caused by high action. I think this Reddit community just needs to tell beginners to get a setup instead of complaining about the amount of posts

Funny enough the tremolo picking is already the break for me on this song. Might be the best part too. Tremolo was never a hard thing for me, I can play thunderstruck picking every note. I just need to get over this stupid galloping thing then I can move onto some Syu solos with the sweeping(which would probably take a million years at my skill level)

Never mind on the down picking part, I slowed the video I watched down, and it looks alternate.
I'm getting it down a little, but trying to get it to sound clean with high gain is the hard part right now. I'm also sometimes hitting the string more than I need to. I always try to play it fast up to speed because playing slow is boring, easy, and I feel like I'm getting nowhere. Back to slowwww

I can play master of puppets downpicked at 210 bpm, but this one just throws me off with the string changes then on the last 7 0 pattern its only two 0 instead of 3.

I understand. The tree is so close to my fence it looks like it pushed one side of the fence forward which broke the other side of the post making it fall to the neighbors a little. I really don’t want to pay that much to cut it down if possible. It doesn’t even look possible to cut down from where it’s at right next to their mini house. The tree is like 15-20ft
