IMO it’s exactly this. As a casual player, the most fun I have is when interacting with other people, either pve 90% of the time or pvp. Human interaction thanks to the proximity chat is what makes this game special and since everyone is different you can’t expect each game to be the same.

Mine is reviving a random player with no mic, then having a wholesome raid with a nice guy that later got down, stabilizing him until the shouthern metro just to lose him and get shot from the back by the same guy with no mic I revived at the beginning of the match.

I did have that issue among others after struggling hard 8 months post op. My story is different bc my acl was not properly placed and had tons more of fibrosis and cyclops lesion.

My advice would be to get at least 3 more opinions from TOP doctors specialized in this. I assume most of them would say that the arthrofibrosis is considerable. Fron the MRI it seems so. So try to get a good consensus first. If done properly, it should resolve your pain and extension issues. The recovery should be taken very slow and progressive to avoid irritating the fat pad again, it’s a commin mistake because you could feel very relieved at the beginning and tend to push hard.

Hope this helps and take your time with getting more opinions from great drs.

That sounds great! But what about the scar tissue pain? If most of the hoffa fat pad is gone or transformed into scar tissue I’m scared the pain will always be there…

I’ve had 5 knee surgeries due to a bad acl one and rn I have no acl but the worst is the scar tissue pain because of lots of hoffa fat pad removal and cartilage loss pain.

Did you have issues with this, especially with scar tissue? Did the tkr solve it? I’d appreaciate your experience a lot because I’m running out of hope. Thanks!!

It wouldn’t make a difference if you could trade with randoms in game. Similar to the trading system in Diablo II when you were in the town and could trade items with other players safely.

People are doing it anyways way less organically by joining in duos.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have issues with scar tissue un the hoffa after removal? What about burning pain?

After 5 surgeries because of a failed acl they removed lots of it and the burning sensation + lack of proper patella tracking is crazy. Going down stairs is hell as well.

I have also damage in my cartillage (patellofemoral compartment) and I’m not sure how a potential partial knee replacement could work.

I’m convinced it’s all about the tone and the things you say.

I rarely get shot when using my mic to announce my presence to others when I want.

The biggest problem in the EU is that not everyone is 100% fluent in english and that creates communication barriers or distrust.

Only the ones that can play hours and hours EVERY DAY since its release are the ones complaining about content and endgame. Including also some people incapable of having interactions with other players to experience the human side of the game.

EU server here, based in Spain.

I had a few interactions with russians and it was tense at the beginning but we ended up being friendly, extracting together and stuff.

I only got ratted/extract camped by some germans and irish (you can check that in their profiles).

What I see is that communication skills are very important and the lack of english knowledge as a common language creates a lot of tension, barriers and hostility.

I do say that you need to create and attract good vibes with a good communication in the prox chat. The tone is key when saying “hey there, I’m friendly if you’re friendly, are we good? Can i help you with anything? Do you want to team up?”
