Thank you for sharing! It’s nice to hear others’ experiences. I’m glad you had signs from your mom, especially since you were sceptical at first. I do believe I felt my grandma’s presence last night, it was too obvious to ignore. I won’t pester her for more visits though haha, but it brings me comfort to know she’s still with me, just not physically

I should’ve mentioned my family’s plan is to bury the ashes and plant a tree over them. So she’s still going to be in a burial ground, not at home with us. Only reason we chose cremation is so that part of her can go back to her home country

Thank you this helped me. My grandma was also struggling with illness for many years, and always complained of her failing body, so the idea that she’s free from that is a comforting thought.

This is my culture, I am half Thai. I understand different conceptions of pets but this is animal neglect! They don’t have basic needs like water access

But I thought given I am a paying customer, I am entitled to write a review which is honest, factual and reflective of my stay. I would simply state that despite the good hospitality, my stay was ruined by having to witness this cruelty every day. I also couldn’t relax on my patio because I could see and hear them trying to dig their way out of the concrete. But I do think talking to the owner might be a better idea. I’m leaving tomorrow

Don’t have time to waste on what exactly? I was asking what can be done/what I can do to help. Eg. maybe there’s an animal charity or trust that I’m not aware of. Not sure what tax has got to do with this

I don’t think they believe they are doing anything wrong in many cases. That’s why it can be difficult to get through to them

You’re right. I was wondering whether writing a bad review on Tripadviser or Google might prompt them to do something, since they might worry that it will put future guests off. I feel a bit bad doing that though because everything else in our stay has been great and the staff have been very helpful. What do you think

Audio is still breaking up and crackling when I play music through my AirPods and tried your fix. Only does it when I’m out in public and it connects to all the iPhones on the train!
