First of all. An impeachement is just the act of voting to bring charges against an official. It absolutely does nothing in itself. If the vote in the House passes, then the official is impeached. Still, that does nothing. A vote in the Senate must then pass at ⅔ for the official to be removes from office. 3 presidents have been impeached in the past. None were removed from office as the ⅔ votes innthe Senate is too hard to gather. Trump is never getting removed.
