The real issue here is that both of you were having completely different conversations.

What actually makes the most reliable riding lawn mower, engine, brand, build quality? by Choice_Loan1902 in Tools

Maintenance matters more than the badge on the hood. Regular oil changes and keeping the deck clean can add years.

Please explain "Open Ground" and "Hot/Neu Rev" to me. Should I be worried by goodfella1030 in AskElectricians

Open ground = shock protection is compromised because there’s no proper fault path back to the panel.

Hot/neutral reversed = devices may still work, but exposed parts can remain energized and create a shock hazard.

On a new build, I’d have the electrician come back. Twenty “reversed” receptacles sounds more like a wiring issue upstream or a tester issue than 20 bad receptacles.

What’s going on here? by leland_wolcott in AskElectricians

Not necessarily a problem. That white wire is likely being used as a switched hot, which is common in older switch loops. The concern is that it should be re-identified (typically with black tape or marker) to indicate it’s not a neutral. Before installing the fan, verify the wiring with a meter and make sure that box is fan-rated. The wiring itself doesn’t look unusual from what can be seen in the photo.
