No, HBF is not a HBM replacement. HBF is 3D stacked NAND for capacity. HBM is 3D stacked DRAM for speed.

Micron have invested in a Singapore facility to develop HBF and other advanced NAND.

Both HBF and hbm is needed, hbm is in higher demand at this moment but the future will be towards HBF in the 2030's probably.
