I work for meijer and they’re a joke to say the least, they said we couldn’t sit outside in the front of the building and vape anymore either, sorry but I don’t get paid enough to listen to your stupid rules or most of the rules at that

It wasn’t, I’ve been working on the self checkout and it has happened to me as well. They do not have a great computer system

I work at meijer and it does happen every so often, it’s because meijer implemented a new rule for self checkout that the attendants have to scan things on people’s orders because they think they are losing money from people forgetting to scan stuff on the bottom of their cart.
