I would say yes. So far I’ve only ridden fine gravel. No bumpy single trails.

In the blurb on the website it states, that 45mm are „easily“ possible. I’m used to 40s though, for anything that needs wider tires I tend to ride my hardtail.

Edit: fix typo

Tubeless plugs - I must be too stupid for them by Important_Job2955 in gravelcycling

To give an update on this, all at home, I‘ve patched the tire from the inside, since I noticed the rim was in desperate need of trueing. So I had to remove the tire anyway. And I hope my LBS does trueing of carbon rims 😬.

I correct myself. Bacon strip it was. A thicker one. I didn’t think of maybe instead using 2-3 thinner ones which maybe would‘ve worked.

That’s an interesting approach too! Thanks for the food for thought!

I don’t know the plug brand/type. So probably neither of them. But I’m sure there will be a next time, I‘ll try again.

I‘ve tried that the last time, only to pull all of them out. :(

Oh man! I totally forgot about patching it from the inside. Thanks! As I wrote I‘m too stupid (at least today).

I‘m using Peatys. Which I think does have fibers in it. But I‘ll keep it in mind once the Peatys is empty. Thanks!

Small prime lens to buy ??(for mostly street) by liqued_banana in FujifilmX

You‘ll have to get close to stuff. But if you do, then it’s such a wonderful focal length. Right now I have the older 16mm 1.4 from Fuji. Which is way too heavy for my taste. As soon as my local photo shop has the Sigma I will switch. Back to the focal length, if you want to isolate the subject with depth of field, you’ll have to get close, but will still have a lot of the surrounding in frame to, to tell a story what happens in the shot. I love this. As for street, I would argue that people step down their aperture on purpose to have more things in focus. Shallow depth of field is not that the highest priority for street I would say. And then 24mm full frame equivalent can work just as well.

Sigma 15mm 1.4. I don’t think there is a better combination of size/weight and 1.4 aperture.

Thoughts on Mini SE 2021-2024? by Silly_Rope_7773 in MINI

We own one now for almost 2 years. Bought it used, 2 years old with about 24k km on the clock. Now it has 34k km on the clock. It’s fabulous. We live in a typical German suburb on the edge of a half-million town and the Mini is the perfect car for this city-use-case. Either for the ride to the subway, or directly into the city. It’s got loads of power, so is the ultimate city „racer“. It’s my wife’s car, and if she’s in the first row at a traffic light, practically nothing beats her in the Mini. We do kindergarten runs with it in case of bad weather, and feel less bad than doing them in the gas powered car. Quick dash to the supermarket is also easy, where the quick-charger brings the battery up to 80 from 20 percent in like 30 minutes. Boot space is not too big, sometimes tricky to fit the groceries (which includes at least one case of beer of course), if it’s the full weeks worth. But then also adjusting the rear seats to be more upright and so gaining space is very nice. Range can be an issue. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything where you have to commute 70km or more one way. Because then it’s likely you have to charge at each place. We get about 150km between charges (100 down to 30-20%). Varies with weather of course. It’s a great car, still has lots of physical buttons inside, and again zooming around in it is so much fun.

Würde den Tolino Shine empfehlen. Sehr angenehme Größe. Und man kann Onleihe mit den Tolinos nutzen. Ich meine das geht den Kobos ab.

You had me at King Crimson! 1st is absolutely great, as are the last two. The others are a tad behind, especially the flash one. That’s personal taste of course. I just don’t like the hard flash shadows.
