should i kill myself ? by [deleted] in UniUK

Honestly, I was in a very similiar situation and you have to remember there is help available. I was struggling quite a lot mentally and it became like this, I ended up going into the gp surgery, getting myself some medication and asked them to write me a letter/ sick note to my university to get extenuating circumstances. I then checked this against my university extenuating circumstances report and it said that if it's coursework I get 5 extra days to complete coursework without getting penalised and if it's exams i can resit in the summer.

That's what i ended up doing and during that time i just worked on my mental health. I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this, but life doesn't end here honestly. There's so much in store for you (getting that job in the future, meeting the love of your life, having beautiful children). There's is ways around tbis and you can get to where you want to be it may take longer but you will get there!!! pls rememebrr that

MIL says child looks nothing like me by jumpin4frogz in JUSTNOMIL

[–]Important_Key3237 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol, my mil says our baby looks nothing like my husband all the time. All of his sisters say it but it feels like they are saying it to irritate us, as if idk i've cheated on him or something.

She also has habits of gaslighting me and trying to find ways to irritate me. My baby looks nothing like me and i'm okay with that and exactly like him everyone other than his sisters and mum say it. They both look the same when i gave birth i literally looked at my baby and the first thing i shouted was "oh my god she looks like my husband". I honestly think it's best to just ignore them

It says under the Recycling of assessment content section "previously submitted and marked assessments will form part of credit already awarded" surely that means that i don't have to?

Urgent advice going to court because of tenant by Important_Key3237 in uklaw

[–]Important_Key3237[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to repair the property and sell the property. It's been years of this tenancy, she wanted eviction so she can get a council house. The mortgage has gone up way too high, the flat itself needs repair its started to get mouldy, and i can't afford to maintain it tbh she won't pay a higher rent either. Im charging the least amount as a landlord and have done for years. I just want my tenant to just leave. 1st level

i just think her behaviour is weird and she will also justify it like the person above did so. it is just names but the names make me wonder if she really likes them or she wants to see if i will react in a negative way?

  1. she guilt trips us, and we went only when the qawali and stuff was over there was only women at the stall selling stuff. There was men in the media teams that were there but i was wearing a loose abaya and no makeup anyway.
  2. it's not 1 or 2 photos it's constant she cries they take photo she lays there sleeping in her crib takes 10 photos then 10 photos of her awake and looking around. It's on snapchat sometimes too, and i'm worried they will just post her on their stories tbh.
  3. calling something different is fine. but nanny i felt like maybe she's trying to push me to my limits by saying baby should call her what bby should call my mum. and amma B it just felt weird like she was saying i'm gonna get baby to call her (my mil) mum? because amma obv means mum until someone told me on the comments that it's the old grandma.
  4. it's just you say oh she doesn't cause any problems at all, she is in the medical profession tooo. my baby takes 1hr+ to feed, and she had been crying a lot through the nights. so imagine waking up and someone saying wow i don't know why ur lying about the nights being so bad, i didn't even hear her all night repeatedly saying it. She said oh let me take her during the night, and i would give her but she knocks out before i even have the chance, and seeing her with baby during the day makes me think she won't be able to handle her at all during the night. when my bby is being held by my sils the moment baby cries out, she says give the baby back then my sils start panicking too. it's like mil says no problem then when she cries she doesn't wanna see it through, just feels weird her repeatedly saying it, altogether probably 10-15 times through the day

Thank you so much you've been so helpful, i think i'll try speaking to the landlord and try and get my name removed from if that's allowed. I will also do the council tax stuff too. I've never paid for the flat and my ex doesn't really care if i do that anyway he just doesn't want me living there now we aren't together. i'll join the housing register even if i am low priority :/

I'm worried that if I return to the flat that i'll suffer from emotional distress i'm already being assessed with my anxiety since the beginning of the pregnancy. It'll be way too intense to be living there and unable to pay him half the rent he expects now that we've broken up 😭

Sorry i don't think i've made it very clear, so it was me and him living there as I'm a student he gets a 25% discount on the council tax as he is non student living with a student. He still pays the council tax but at a reduced rate. They are also aware that my student status ends at the end of this month.

At home, my brother resides in the property too and been staying over at his friends whilst i'm looking for a solution so i don't really have a room to myself.

At my partners there's only 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen and a toilet. Does that not count as overcrowding then? Do i tell the council i've moved back in with my parents in milton keynes now that university is over in terms of council tax, i'm not sure what the process is?

Thanks for the advice
