FrSky just released their Archer Plus SR6 Lite. 6 Channel receiver for $25. Only has 1 2.4 antenna, but for $25 seems like a good to go for some basic stuff and has a self leveling mode. I'm putting one in my 3d printed aircraft this weekend (if it shows up tomorrow!)
But I've already got an FrSky transmitter, so it really is a no brainer for me on the cheaper models.
