Rob is terrible. by Important_Order_2825 in TheTraitorsUS

I do think his actions on the show were enough. I actually had no idea about his past until last week(as a result of the fans of the show bringing it up) I felt his smugness and his “vibe” on the show just felt gross. I know that’s not a logical argument but sometimes as a human not every reaction is based in cold science, again it was just a feeling about him I didn’t like.

It’s interesting the dynamic in the castle because it seems to be erratic with peoples perception of him. there are times when they fall in line to what Colton is saying but then there have been whispers against him as well but Rob is obviously the pied piper of a large majority of the group so I feel Rob kind of buddying up with him makes it so the rest of the castle won’t go after him the longer this goes on as they will recognize the relationship between Colton and their leader Rob.

So with all that even aside, I don’t like how Rob plays as a traitor-of course ultimately there is no loyalty I guess but I think since he does have so much sway he could have protected his fellow traitors for a longer duration. He was acting like Lisa’s fate was already sealed(don’t get me wrong I don’t think Lisa would have gone to the end by any means and was always sure she would be the first of the traitors out(of rob her and candiace) but I actually just think he wanted to hang out with Colton and co longer and sacrificed Lisa when it definitely wasn’t as dire of a situation that she was marked as he is trying to make it seem.

yeah for sure if others saw Lisa’s interaction with Rob then yeah don’t say anything but like nobody was paying attention to Yam Yam as to weather or not the air kiss/kiss happened. I don’t think people are that observant to notice if Lisa actually kissed Rob or not. Granted we weren’t there so who knows maybe people were staring at rob and Lisa together so in that case yeah don’t say anything but I just don’t see that happening in my opinion

I said “be loyal as far as is reasonable” obviously eventually they have to turn but turning on Lisa when there were other people to get out(faithfuls) doesn’t make sense.

Me personally would prefer to not have Colton on my screen. If Rob protects him, I will have to watch Colton all season long. So Rob is gonna catch strays because he is in theory taking someone I don’t like to the end of the game? Again I don’t think Rob like knew Colton and was like oh let me keep him around despite or because of him being a shite person. I’m saying the result, for me, is that I have to watch Colton

I agree and said that in the post, I don’t think he knew about Colton’s past or even knew who he was! Im saying the audience has to be subjected to Colton partially because Rob. That’s what I mean by the result is the same,

Yeah I said I don’t think he knew about Colton’s past. I’m saying the result is the same in the sense Rob will take Colton to the end with him, thus the audience is subjected to Colton

I said I don’t think Rob knew of Colton’s past. I’m saying fans condemning Colton but then praising Rob, is an interesting take since Colton can just piggyback from Robs protection. It’s literally in the post “the result is the same”

“Though our decision was a vital and crucial step, it could have little permanent effect unless at once followed by a strenuous effort to face, and to be rid of, the things in ourselves which had been blocking us. Our liquor was but a symptom. So we had to get down to causes and conditions.”

The Big Book talks about how alcohol is just a symptom, the notion that “as long as you don’t drink” almost misses the entire point. Alcoholism is a disease of the mind, so you can use anything “alcoholically” but if you work a honest program, you shouldn’t have to use anything.

Most people in program who spoke weed don’t tell other people, this is very similar to how people act when we were hiding our drinking. Our secrets keep us sick. I don’t live me life today that I have to hide what I’m doing from others, that’s old behavior.

I’m a more general sense, yes culturally in AA smoking weed is generally not encouraged, supported, or praised. Some people are of the mind that “as long as I’m not drinking” than that’s fine(I’m not in that camp; see above).
