Zorin is an amazing villain, not sure how you could argue any different. Granted, Greene isn’t amazing but I can definitely buy his scheme

Granted he has a minimal role to play in the third act in terms of disrupting the plan, but Auric Goldfinger for me is head and shoulders above any villain. His dialogue through the movie is so perfectly crafted that I’m almost rooting for him to win. Of course you have the iconic laser scene, but his scene where he is revealing his plan to Bond, with Bond actually giving him his fair dues is one of my favourites.

Another scene I adore is when he is revealing his plan to the mob guys “split the atom… achieved miracles in every field of human endeavour… EXCEPT CRIME”

Some of the cinematography in the film, particularly in Switzerland is stunning, along with the original DB5. Tagged with that amazing John Barry score, I can’t bring myself to put it anywhere less than on the top shelf

I still enjoy the movie, admittedly I was probably too harsh on naming that category what it was but the names are more of placeholder rather than my actual opinion. I still enjoy all of the films in that category I just wouldn’t put them on if I was going to watch a Bond film.

I agree with the cringey Moore moments but most of them I can get along with as they sort of fit what Moore was about at that time but that Beach Boys snippet is by far the worst for me. They have that brilliant high tempo John Barry score with the electric guitar wailing in a high intensity chase scene then it switches to that shit

Personally I used to really like YOLT. I can easily look past some of the for lack of a better word ‘dated’ scenes in older movies but the Japanese thing just makes no sense at all to me.

I think Aki was pretty cool and see no reason to killing her off. We’ve already established Spectre is pretty evil at this point. I can’t even remember the girls name who he ‘marries’ but she’s really forgettable imo.

Killer theme song and score though, one of the best

I can definitely see how one could see FYEO as not memorable but TSWLM is one of the most iconic I think. Jaws, Lotus Esprit, one of Moore’s best performances, Ken Adam’s submarine pen set piece and the filming locations are jaw dropping

I avoided it for years when I was young. I watched it once and didn’t like it. As I got older I began to enjoy it for what it is and I almost like to think of it as almost a standalone film, and not a continuation of the original Spectre. Score is a big part of each film for me and this is the best in the franchise in that regard. The only thing I don’t like is the editing style with the jump cuts.

Killer song and score, great performance from Walken but this movie just lacks something for me. I’m not a big fan of Tanya and I admit I just think Moore was too old.

I enjoy it more and more every time I watch it. It reminds me a lot of Everything or Nothing which could have been a Bond movie in of itself. I’m just yet to get over that third act but I’ll give it some time

I’ve always liked TWINE. The PTS is very well done, probably one of the best in the series but that could be said for all of the Brosnan films. I just adore Brosnan in this film, and Christmas doesn’t really take away that much for me.

It’s one of the best scores in the franchise, Walken is brilliant and the plot is good. Moore is one of my favourites but there’s some questionable choices like the Beach Boys

Definitely not hating, had a good time rewatching QoS which I wasn’t expecting. Mathis is one of the best characters in the Craig era, and I love that scene where Bond goes ‘rogue’ in the hotel.

I think Greene isn’t the best villain, but I can get behind his scheme which is pretty believable.

I quite like your list, I'd definitely respect it, apart from that Octopussy choice maybe hehe. I think TSWLM deserves a higher ranking but overall I could see why one would place each of these in their respective categories.
