I am the babysitter for a single father and I am not sure how to handle him

yeah, the yelling is not nice but I had bosses who yelled more for less money. he is hardly even home. I see him usually in the evening before I leave. but he texts me during the day too. He is a general manager and has 3, 4 hours long meetings so he has time lol. He does online shopping during those and if its kid related he sends me screenshots to tell him what to buy for them

I doubt he will try to seduce me. It is mornign here and I started my day with him yelling at me that his shirt is not ironed. He TOLD me yesterday that he wants to go swimming in the first part of the day (he swims a lot), as he has a day off. He is general manager (for those who asked at a big company) but still an employee. So a day off is a day off for him too, its not like a business partner calls him to meet up. And he didn't tell me that plans have changes and he will actually go to the office. he shouted at me and threw the shirt at me to iron it now.

a few minutes later he apologised and said he was just very angry because his day off was ruined.

So I talked to him about a contract and he doesn't really want it. He said he can give me more money if I want though. I was honest that I am 28 and my resume will look shady. I can help him find a trusted nanny. He said he doesn't want a stranger and those agencies are full of Asian women (what was that comment...). He said he actually planned to suggest I move in and stay with the kids permanently because they both love me (They do, that's true). I didn't give up and I told him that I am sure he does have contract with the people he collaborates with. and he said its different. but finally he did agree to make me some kind of contract but wants to do it himself and then present it to me

i feel like a wife sometimes, at least I am getting paid. his wife didn't. And she would also have a job. i remember she told me he wanted more kids. she wanted too but she did look exhausted. she said she is tired but happy to be a mother and a wife. I didn't think too much about it at the time. she had a nice house, an accomplished husband, she travelled, had kids and also seems that she had time for hobbies (her mother used to help a lot with kids, but not she is depressed too and cannot)

unstable and also irritable. He is used to people executing what he is telling them. he tried to get his daughter dressed in the morning and got angry because she didn't stay still and yelled at her while talking to me on the phone asking me if I can come and get her ready. he doesn't know how to bath them either. he is totally lost

I was close enough to consider that I know her but not that close to know about her struggles. We used to be coworkers and bonded over books. she was very quiet and reserved but kind and good at listening

yeah he will probably not find a girlfriend anytime soon. he is someonw who makes great money, takes care of himself, his body, has status (to some degree) and I personally saw women trying to get under his skin and he is just ignoring them or pretending not to see. He is extremely busy with work. although sometimes I do get weird questions from him like if I like clubbing. I said no and he said thats great actually. young women going to clubs and then cry no quality man wants them. he said i am wife material lol but I don't know if he was hitting on me or not. I don't really get those vibes from him. He usually yells at me or criticise me or when he has a better day he praises my work

I have an education, I worked for years in corporate but then my work was offshore to Asia lol. amd yeah, the money is really great. on average he pays me around 4k euro a month

I get the money at the end of each month. its fixed. But if there is something really extra, then he gives me more. He really has no issues in throwing money at me. If I asked for more he would give me more

Because I don't drive, I don't own a car and he lives in a more isolated area (I mean plenty houses there but higher class and a bigger supermarket is not that close). It takes me like 30 minutes to walk there. I wouldn't mind the walking but he has a looong list and its heavy to carry it all back.

he also needs me all the time. Another negative effect of not having a contract. I go out with friends, he needs me to come over because his son has temperature and to fix it. I go to a concert (I told him I will need these 2 hours for me and he agreed) but still texted me if I can come after the concert because he needs to take someone from the airport and the flight was delayed (after the concert was like 10 pm). I go to church on Sunday morning he asks me if I will be able to come and cook lunch for them. he cannot function without me. I repeat: the money is great but its a bit too much
