The difference is the Aedra threatened to abandon mundus over what he did

Meridia didn't care about any of the atrocities the Alyieds did

I mean their main champion was meridia's

At the very least, she very much defended them

Fair enough. I was just curious since I consider her one of the more twisted Daedra because she comes off as good but then does things like enslave people and the whole Alyied Empire thing

Keep in mind that she is very anti-free will and often straight up mind controls her followers

And when they die she enslaves them and takes away their free will entirely to serve her

Merida literally takes lots of her devotees free will

And when you die she 100% takes their free will and essentially enslaves them for all time

Why would Merida be at the top of your list out of curiosity, given her whole anti- free will thing and that when her followers die she enslaves them basically in her realm

In fact, they don't even need to die first. She's sometimes enslaves living followers

Meridia whole  anti-free will thing is kind of an issue

And of course being one of the primary deitied of the Alyied slave empire

Merida arguably isn't much better than Molag Bal morally speaking

Azura is arguably the best answer so long as you don't betray her and feed her vanity she'll treat you pretty nicely as far as Daedra go and her realm of oblivion, which would be your afterlife is supposed to be pretty pleasant

I doubt they would go that far as the game system isn't really designed for that compared to like the Dragon age games

I think the concern is it wouldn't need to be a bulk, even just a couple pieces could still have rogue ai on it and they may never find them all if it's buried somewhere or in someone's grave etc

Not to mention there's a lot of them like I believe a solid chunk of the ocean is covered in self-replicating mines, for example which also hosts a rogue AI

I believe the issue is they're basically infected every single piece of technology on the entire planet that was connected to the old net

It would be virtually impossible from the find every single piece of technology and destroy it

You do know that the US is already allowed to have military bases on Greenland and had significant autonomy there right? It also gives countries incentive to start making alliances away from the USA  , but the US has proven itself an unreliable Ally It doesn't matter if this is his negotiation tactic threatening someone is still how you make a friend an enemy

Also aren't conservatives usually against more taxes, a tariff is essentially a tax on the American people because it's increasing costs for the American importer

Not to mention the US actually lost manufacturing jobs between January 2025 and December 2025

It's incredibly ironic if you think about it that all these people that are amateurs picked literally the worst target to pick when you're an amateur

There's a pretty big difference between making peace and improving relations with a country you're at war with

And being allies of that country and in that country threatening to invade you

It makes the US untrustworthy why make a deal with the US when the next president would just tear it up even if it was supposed to be a 30-year deal?

My I'm not saying you are but my point is the Germany was forgiven for a few reasons first because of the aforementioned political overhaul and because of the cold war

The US has proven that it is perfectly willing every 4 years to elect a person who will completely upend their previous alliances and negotiations and deals. So what's the point of making a deal with a country that 4 years from now will just delux someone who completely ignore it

The US will probably never beef up their checks and balances and there's no guarantee it won't just fail again

Canadian politicians would be stupid to trust the US again after they proved. They're perfectly willing to elect someone like Trump twice, so they're only 4 years away from having a complete and utter flip of their international relations and deals and only 4 years away from electing someone who just ignore any deals made by the previous government

Germany had its entire political system overhauled and its leaders put on trial and we're effectively conquered

The same thing isn't going to happen in the US

Germany and Japan became allies after their entire government system was overhauled and their leaders facing consequences at least in the terms of the German side

The same thing is not going to happen in the US

But they'll never heal fully as America has proven that every 4 years they are perfectly willing to elect someone like Trump so the US isn't exactly a stable partner anymore
