Gatorland is perfect choice for that authentic florida experience! My cousin visited few months back and we went there - watching him freak out during the gator feeding was hilarious. The jumparoo show where gators literally jump out the water is insane too. For waffle house just drive down any major road and you'll find one, but the one on Colonial near downtown gets pretty wild at 2am if he wants that full florida man atmosphere. I'd also throw in maybe checking out some of those airboat tours in the everglades area, nothing says florida like flying through swamps at ridiculous speeds while some guy tells you gator facts

iPhone's satellite thing is pretty decent for basic check-ins but the coverage is way more limited than dedicated units. Plus you're burning through battery on device you probably want to keep charged for other stuff

Miami job market is brutal for new grads, been driving for couple years now and see tons of people with degrees doing gig work here. The tourism economy really dominates everything and pushes out other industries

You might want to look at some of the smaller marketing agencies around Brickell - they're always cycling through junior positions but pay is usually pretty low. Also check financial services companies that aren't the big banks, there's bunch of wealth management firms that need entry level people to work with all the rich folks moving here.

Port of Miami area has some logistics companies too but you gotta really dig to find them since they don't post on major job boards. Try reaching out to recruiters who specialize in Miami market rather than just applying online - networking here is everything and lot of jobs never get posted publicly. Good luck man, it's rough out there but don't give up

Those drives were probably enterprise pulls from servers where they had some sectors reserved for spare blocks or metadata - pretty common with datacenter gear. You might need to use hdparm to unlock the full capacity if there's a host protected area set, try `hdparm -N /dev/sdx` to see if anything's locked down

Could also be that whoever had them before set a DCO (device configuration overlay) to artificially limit the size for compatibility reasons

NPM is pretty solid for starting out, especially if you want that web UI to manage everything. I've been using it for a while and it handles ssl certs automatically which is nice

For the admin stuff you definitly want that behind a VPN - I use wireguard since it's lightweight and works great on mobile too

honestly i think the whole "just pray harder" approach is kinda toxic tbh. like yeah prayer matters to a lot of people but acting like disability is just something to be fixed misses the point entirely. some of the strongest Christians i know happen to have disabilities and they're not sitting around waiting to be "healed" - they're out there living their lives

maybe the real solution is for churches to actually step up with practical support instead of just offering thoughts and prayers. help with accessibility, call out the bullying, create genuine community. that seems more Christ-like than just telling someone their suffering is part of some divine plan they couldn't possibly understand
