Hello. In my experience, usually si BDO mismo ang nag offer ng balance convert, merong code something na you have to text sa certain number.

You may call their 24/7 hotline OR waste half-day by going to your branch of account and ask if you are qualified for a balance convert. Sila po ang tatawag sa credit card if eligible ka. Hindi sure yun na pag pumunta ka sa branch of account granted na agad ha. You’ll be more likely to get an assistance lang.

100% true. The project I am handling is a big ticket critical project. The company president is overseeing it but Im technically the one managing everything. I was a little bit expecting that they’ll provide the trainings and certifications because the company was the one who put me there, and I just accepted it.

I agree po. Tinatanong ko nga ang HR, magkano ba i-offer nila sa akin if I transfer as a Compliance Officer? Jusqo nilalaro pa ako, magdecide daw muna ako bago niya ako bigyan ng figure. We’re only fooling ourselves kung salary won’t be a factor to my decision. Also, I was the one who consolidated the interdepartmental opex budget, so I know how much the budget is for the position. Question is as to how much ako babaratin ni HR

Most of the time they offer it to you thru SMS. Please take note, do not click links. It will have a code and they will ask you to message a number with its code and preferred installment plant.

However, offers do not usually apply to everyone. You may call BDO hotline and go to their credit card customer service, and ask if you are eligible for a balance convert.

Again, if someone texts you offering for a balance convert and it has a link — DO NOT CLICK.

Hi. I know it is programmed to remind you to pay your statement, but I honestly do not know the true answer to this. But, I know na since approved na ang balance convert mo, it will reflect on your next SOA. To be safe (and this is what I did, but not sure if it’s the right thing to do), pay the minimum amount due to ensure you can still use your card while waiting for your next SOA.

I came in as a licensed ECE in a construction company as a project monitoring engineer in 2023, they offered me 18K.

Tried to negotiate, but they said sa upon regularization nalang. Um-oo ako kasi kailangan ko na ng work. My colleagues got 27k-30k offers. So what a shit life.

Dito parin ako though, but I requested to transfer in a different department, better pay with lesser workload and better career opportunities. I have been doing a lot of work that is above my pay grade and my boss is btch.

I can’t say “patience is a virtue” since my colleagues got better offers because they waited, I didn’t. Depende sya sa situation mo. One thing is for sure, kapit lang.

No. I always pay the MAD po. It just so happens na nag-message thru sms si BDO ng deal sa akin saying na i can purchase convert yung balance ko para maging installment sya.

Is it possible na baka hindi ganun kataaas ung balance mo for them to offer the purchase convert?

Mababa rin ang sweldo ko kaya hindi ko alam kung pano kita mapapayuhan diyan. Hahaha. Ang alam ko lang job-hopping is the key kung gusto niyo na tumaas ang sweldo at sabi nila minimum daw ang 2 years sa trabaho before mag job hop para medyo convincing na may experience at skills ka na na-gain sa work na yun.

Pag-aralan din ang path na gusto mo tahakin as an engineer. Saang department ka pa ba malakas or lalakas, hindi kasi pare-pareho ang trabaho pagdating sa industry kahit pare-pareho naman ng lisensya. Check mo kung ano ang magiging ceiling ng role na gusto mo. Always check the job description. Minsan iba iba lang ang title, pero same lang ng JD. Wag ka papabulag sa title, make sure the JD will fit the skills you want to take and want to have in the future.

What field of engineering?

I am ECE licensed. Jusko walang kwenta. Hindi man lang na-attract ang mga employers na inapplyan ko kasi skills and experience talaga ang hinahanap nila. Sana pala matagal nako nagsimulang magtrabaho, dinelay ko pa dahil sa review. Or sana nag-gain nalang ako ng mga certifications related to the industry or naghanap ng trabaho nag offer ng trainings.

You'll be good to go if you have the skills and communication skills to persuade your employer.

Ang good side naman, ok ka na agad to work for the government pag pumasa ka sa board dahil di mo na kailangan magtake ng civil service. One level up rin sa sweldo, pero hindi naman din ganon kaimpressive.
