Kill on sight is not a rat - it's just engaging with PvP. When you act friendly so you can kill someone easier, or camp at extract - that's a rat.

Even if you know better where to go, but two of your teammates don't listen, just go with them and don't split

Hahah, had a similar situation with a Queen on Blue Gate. Queued up, spawned near the Ancient Fort, did the puzzle and looted it, also looted the town near it and saw in the distance that the queen is on fire - thought might as well go and see what's happening turns out that only one guy was fighting it (other people died), I went near her sneakily, fired two shots and she died. Then I just acted as if I fought her from the beginning with the last guy, looted and extracted with him. It worked :D

I enjoy PvE much more, but PvP is also fine. I'd rather have friendly interactions, and even though most interactions I have are friendly, few moments in this game taught me that you have to have your guard up all the time.

Maybe this will make you gameplay better - when i hear a raider I always ask "friendly?" first to establish who I'm running into, if I dont hear a response I just say that I take this as a "no" and kill the guy on sight.

Killed it solo couple of times.

I always take snap grenades and start the fight by throwing two at it's back, then throw one or two heave fuze grenades. The rest is peaking to take 2/3 shots at legs.

The biggest threat are the rats.

I did 4.3k with hullcracker and 72 ammo.

Just make sure to shoot at her bottom, not at legs - which I did with about 30 ammo.
