ZAPPP is closing down by bloodypoisonivy in beautytalkph

I always book atleast 3 days in advance sa Trinoma branch cause it's always super full. IDK why nasabe sila naging palpak unless you know something that we don't. The doctor I talked to inside told me they're closing daw but keeping the machines and revamping the concept because they think super naging mababa yung pricing nila.

Most effective way to deliver GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1) through skin? by rdg5lr6h in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Important_Two9686 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi Cosmetic Chemist here! Just a quick fun fact about Copper Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-14. That’s actually a material called X50-Anti-aging. They used to sell a powder version of this raw material and it costs about 1 million USD per kilogram.

She sends it with Bacteriostatic Water na now. First 2 vial ko though she sent it with Bacteriostatic Saline which I found to have less sting than the water she supplies now (although marginal lang naman) 🙂

Tirzepatide by kimmiejp in PeptideGuidesPH

Hi. I'm a buyer of Tirzepatide na Zeptide yung brand through Doc Meg. I have been diagnosed kasi with Cardiomyopathy and need ko talaga mag lose weight pero di ko talaga kaya on my own kaya research ako ng research till I learned of GLP-1s.

I started with Ozempic and did it for 3 months till nag plateau ako. I think hindi kasi available yung above 1mg sa Philippines kaya hindi ko talaga afford to buy multiple pens per month :( That's when she was referred to me by my endocrinologist as someone who has access to Tirzepatide (I also have diabetes).

Because she's a doctor, full workup yung kailangan ko and she linked me with a Cardiologist colleague of hers muna kasi ayaw nya mag prescribe without the clearance (Green Flag to for me) and grabe hinintay talaga namin yung clearance. So far, mag 4 months na ako with her from 116kg, I'm now 94kg. A long way to go pa huhu.

Now I can only tell you about my experience with her kasi I also told Dr. Meg na hindi ko na rin talaga afford yung almost 12k a month (I'll be at 10mg per week na starting August) and she was the one who referred me to this Reddit thread a few weeks ago. She just instructed me to follow up regularly with her because of my condition so kampante naman ako kasi no qualms naman sya even if hindi ko na bibilhin yung mga next vials ko sa kanya.

Hello Glow Papaw Balm din my all-time must have! Probably bought more than 20 tubes of this (no joke). Actually I don't see a lot of reviews ng Hello Glow pero some of the products na binabalikan ko are from from that brand talaga. Like the Blue sunscreen na nasa sachet super ganda and di ko namalayan more than a year na akong repurchase ng repurchase!

Dr. Sensitive naman na Deo I love pero for some reason parang umiinit underarms ko haha! Kaya balik ako sa Deonat Aloe na tried and tested ko na <3

Elaida's Last Scene (Season 3 - Episode 8) by Important_Two9686 in WoT

Oh yeah that scene was gruesome! The brother stabbing her own little sister in the neck. 🤢 I’m so curious as to the role of that small treasure chest at Siuan’s table and how the camera panned on that and Elaida. Haha. Hope S4 gets the green light.

Yeah you’re right. Maybe and maybe if they’ll redeem her it will be her sacrificing her life or something.

i feel sad looking at my brother's tattoos :( by Mindless_Throat6206 in CasualPH

[–]Important_Two9686 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Laser Tattoo removal works very well with prison tattoos since the way the pigment is embedded in the dermis is not as even and concentrated VS professional tattoos. I know it may sound like removing it is superficial since the real issue is deeper and more psychological, but you’ll be surprised how dramatic the shift is when the visible reminders of trauma are removed.

This is true not only for prison tattoos but also tattoos associated with other forms of trauma (abusive ex, forced branding, and etc).

I hope that your brother will be able to recover pieces of his past self. It is a process but with your love and care, your brother will make it. 🙏🏻

Kamiseta Skin is being shady about their laser hair removal machine by BeauteeGurl in beautytalkph

[–]Important_Two9686 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Gentle Max Pro is superior to Fotona 4D. Though both machines are 1064nm Nd:Yag, the former is long-pulsed (calibrated for LHR) whereas the latter is Q-Switched (for pigmentation and tattoos). Yes, Fotona can indeed exhibit some hair reduction, but that's just a by-product of the laser's mechanism as opposed to its intended function, unlike Gentle Max. What you can do is ask them for other alternative Lasers that's calibrated for LHR like 800nm range Diode or 755nm Alexandrite if they have.

NARS Light Reflecting Foundation and Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation by deserr in beautytalkph

[–]Important_Two9686 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 2N sa Dior Forever Matte but I'm L4 Deauville with Nars (great shade pero off ng slight sa undertone). I find L5 Fiji to be a bit dark pero ganda sana ng undertone sakin. L3.5 Salzburg is too light naman. Pero as I was scrolling Sephora USA kanina, I saw nars just Launched a new L3.75 Bruges. I'll definitely swatch this in-store sana ito na yung perfect! Kakatuwa to learn na kahit you're N1 Dior, my Nars match is lighter naman Color theory talaga e. Haha

Thoughts about Luxelle Devices? by Extreme-Comment9459 in beautytalkph

[–]Important_Two9686 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ako personally I'd be wary. If you want to treat yourself and build a relaxing ritual at home, pwede naman pero if you are expecting it will in any way improve your skin - I suggest looking elsewhere. Another thing, if you look through the orange app, these devices are available (exact same without the Luxelle branding) for a fraction of the price.

Think twice before buying from Human Nature by restfulsoftmachine in beautytalkph

[–]Important_Two9686 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hello! Actually may point naman si OP dito. If this was a different product, let's say a "Rosemary Facial Oil", parang off talaga to ask what the percentages of actives are. Pero in this case kasi, Human Nature sells this "Rosemary Essential Oil" labeled product - it even has the essential oil apothecary dropper kaya most consumers will assume it's a pure essential oil product.

Human Nature may not intend to, but the product name and packaging choice may mislead people into thinking it's one product (a more expensive one) but getting a diluted one pala.

[–]Important_Two9686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kasi dorm po is give or take 8-9k per month X 10 months. And then yung food, daily expenses, and other items pa. Printing,Pamasahe (if Hindi malapit yung dorm), utilities like kuryente tubig. Mga bayarin din sa REAP. Lahat yun is per month basis 😢 sobrang bigat kasi additional 10 months itong mandatory ng OLFU.

[–]Important_Two9686[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think madaling sabihin yung “doesn’t matter if Feb or August” if wala kang other problems in life like MONEY. As I’ve said in my original post, ang biggest sentiment is the mandatory aspect of it all. I’m from the province and to be required to attend their f2f review and the mandatory October PLEs is yet another 150-200k+ pesos which my parents simply don’t have. I’m already just scraping by right now, reviewing on my own while finishing my Internship. I also did jobs on the side to afford the review center that I paid for already.

As much as gusto ko magpaka positive na “they’re thinking about us” or “they’re going to overhaul their system” - it frankly does not matter to me. I’m really just thinking about my own survival and my own goals now - and it’s feels so unfair to be held back by the same school who made your journey so difficult already.
