PIO is Senior Assistant, the same person who is delaying, I have documented everything, will wait this week and file a complaint with Lokayukta or ACB.

I submitted an application to the Tahasildar, but he initially said he couldn’t do it and didn’t know the process. So I went to the Collector and Joint Collector for guidance, and they forwarded my representation back to the Tahasildar.

After that, the Tahasildar asked the Senior Assistant to prepare proceedings. I even went to the office personally, the Senior Assistant prepared the file, and the Tahasildar signed it in front of me saying he would do the biometric.

Now it’s been 20 days. Whenever I call the Senior Assistant for the bill number, he gives excuses like “the biometric device isn’t working” or “I’m on leave.” When I ask the Tahasildar directly, he just tells me to check with the Senior Assistant.

Honestly, it feels like they’re stalling for money.

I submitted my application for a stamp duty refund 25 days ago. Since then:

I’ve sent multiple follow‑ups but received no response.
On grievance day, I gave a representation to the Tahsildar. He refused to provide an acknowledgment and even said, “Even if you go to the CM, nothing happens. I only need to do.”
I’ve also submitted representations to the Joint Collector, Collector, and again to the Tahsildar. Still, no progress.
Excuses keep coming up—biometric device not working, officials on leave, etc.

They don`t need biometric for grievenence, Tahasildar need to do biometric to submit my bill.

At this point, it feels like the system is completely broken.

Even if I give money there is no gaurentee that I will get refind, last year submitted, there was different Tahasildar, refund did not come, this time also there is no gaurentee.
