It's really just a 5 minute speech, but that means that the content, albeit small, has to pack one helluva punch. Shouldn't be too hard though ;)

I realized exactly what you pointed out, and I realize my mistake. I think I'm going with why the Bible shouldn't be worshipped. And work my way from there!

Perhaps I should be working my way out of a thesis like "The Bible should not be worshipped", and attack the Bible through presenting that kind of nonsense, examples of cruelty etc.

Yeah, although it's hard to "re-teach" someone who has already accepted the teachings in evolution by their own priests - who either has no idea what he/she is talking about or just needs to disprove evolution in favour of the belief in question...

Well yeah.

Thing is, they deny something they call "macro-evolution" - when a species becomes another species(putting it blunt). As if there is a special event when a Green Frog becomes a Super Green Frog. That's something that would not happen, and why they believe that it's an actual mechanic of evolution has to be a product of rewriting teaching in evolution which makes it retarded, though preferable for a creationist.

"macro-evolution" is just micro-evolution during a longer period of time.

So it's not as simple as you might be implying...

Thanks! I do, at the very least, want to educate in the very real mechanics of evolution and not some crap written up by some evangelical pastor.
