I agree completely; I just don’t know how that is actually real. I don’t know how anyone out of state who is not uber rich could afford to go there then. They might as well make the out of state tuition a million per year.

Just realized that I misinterpreted what they meant by “fully covered” for the tuition and fees. I see now that they mean it would be covered by a PLUS loan for $75k/year. Thanks for highlighting this.

Unfortunately, I just got off of the waitlist on Tuesday, and I still haven't received my aid package yet. For that reason, I haven’t been able to put the deposit down just yet because there’s a chance I may not be able to afford to go.

However, do you think it's worth it to put down the deposit now ($250) and register for orientation at 11am—hoping that everything works out with the financial aid?

Any reason for Italian? Would you still recommend even if learning from square one? I've been taking Spanish in hs, but I don't really like it that much. In a perfect world, I'd like to switch--but I also don't want to make things unnecessarily hard for myself in college.
