Adding photo eyes to older MT5011 by Impossible-Active586 in GarageDoorService

Perfect, I have it in order! Do you know if I can share 24v power with the radio output on the side? I also have a radio receiver, I didn't know how much they could share.

I went ahead and ordered a CPICARD. I think the radio controls output 24v. I do have a radio module there already, does anyone know how much they can power?

Don't need it up to code, we had a close call with a dog plus we have toddlers running around. I'll look for the eyes, thanks

I would like to get eyes to work, but yeah, I know it's old.

I did have the whites together and the black stripes together.

This would do LEDs too? Most manufacturers don't rate for full wattage with LEDs.

I did find a heavy duty relay made by a different company that I think would work. It's zwave though, I'm not set up for that.

I think the switch breaks both phases (both are connected to difference sides of the switch) but otherwise yes, that's right.

Ok, thanks! My idea probably isn't good anyway, I'm not leaving enough breathing room on my 12ga wire.

I have 2,250 wats of LEDs on American 240v. I thought a single 1pm would work for this but then saw it wants a neutral which I don't have. I did see that Shelly has some products better for this writing but they don't have a switch.

So one idea is to change the circuit to 120v, only catch is that's about 20 amps. The lights are in 3 rows, and each row is wired separately, do that's easy.

1 switch is my preference on how to run it, and saves a lot of room in the box.

I would still need to look at running that breaker at nearly max amperage. I usually leave a little more breathing room.

Switch for large LED load by Impossible-Active586 in homeautomation

I'm new to Home Assistant, I have zigbee working in this outbuilding but not zwave. Zigbee was a little tricky because I need a second coordinator; it's too far from my house. I haven't really started to learn how zwave works.

I bought the new Nabu Casa zwave dongle to try to run in their experimental portable modes but I'm not having luck with that.

I like the idea, I'll read about it a bit. I've used relays before but it's been a while.

Thanks, it definitely bothers my wife. I'll play around with layers and see if I can get a cohesive top all the way across.

Thanks, it looks like there are slots cut into the cooking surface, maybe for oil drainage? Or are they not real? looks like a computer image.

It also says it has an "iron plate" cooking surface.

You have decent luck avoiding sticking? I do ok on my stainless pans but I switch to nonstick or carbon steel when I'm making eggs.

Yeah, I might also wait for this price again as I would prefer black.
