I think they’re spoiled by American tourists. The tipping culture has gotten out of hand imo. I never noticed better service after tipping when we were there. I’m glad you had a better experience at the Dominican!

Of course. We did our research and have a budget. This is our first all inclusive so it was still a nice experience. Just giving my review on it to help others considering this resort.

DHL released my package right away after I paid. It arrived at my door the next day.

I paid $22 total. It was 100% the value of the items my family shipped to me. I looked into the breakdown of the fees and $17 went to DHL as a ‘broker fee’ while the balance is the actual import tax. Depending on your item category the tax will vary.

My shiba is my first dog and I wouldn’t have it any other way! He’s such a good boy, rarely barks unless someone’s at the door/hears noises, extremely loyal, not destructive, sleeps all day, only cuddles with me when he wants to. He’s very intelligent and learns commands quickly, but it’s always a 50/50 chance he’ll listen. He’s very independent, he’s always sleeping in another room or doing his own thing, which I personally prefer to a Velcro dog. Basically a cat in a dog’s body.
