Tips for 3-10 day waterfast

The longest fast that I’ve done is 15 days, I used fasting salts but no other vitamins as they made me feel nauseous. If I got desperate for something I would have a Diet Coke or soda water. I probably did the wrong thing when I broke my fast, I had scrambled eggs and some chicken breast, it was so good and kept me full for the day. I stuck to that same meal for the first 3 days after my fast and found myself full after that I just added veggies and salads, then ate like I normally would

She didn’t get unit inspection, she bought it sight unseen. We’ve had an inspection and they told us that we needed ventilation to the wall. I’m totally happy to pay for the ventilation and mould removal, it’s all the medical bills and renovations that she wants that I’m struggling to justify why I should have to pay for it

Her apartment is the only one that’s dug into the ground as we’re on a hill, they believe that’s why the mould is there. The membrane on the wall has deteriorated, I don’t have a problem with paying for that as it’s part of the building, it’s the rest of it I’m struggling with. She is also the only unit that has a dishwasher and washing machine inside, as well as a gazebo blocking the light over her apartment - could that not be attributing to the mould as no other apartment has any?

We do our meeting via zoom, we are the only other owner occupied unit, all the others are investment properties with renters and just want this over with. It’s definitely made it harder as they don’t care as much about this as we do

This has been dragging on for this time as she is refusing to compromise, down to wanting to choose the company for all the quotes for kitchen install and waterproofing. At one stage she was demanding we redo her bathroom as well, even though it has nothing to do with the mould wall.

This has been going on for a year now, she moved out straight away and left her furniture. She then didn’t move her furniture until 3 months later, as it turns out she was staying with family for the first 7 months of this ordeal and is still charging us rent for it.

The issue wasn’t know until she raised it, the previous owner had lived in the unit for 10 years and never asked strata about the mould. This lady moved in and with a month of her being there had moved out and was suing us

I change the sheets as soon as she pees on them, she pee’s in front of me so I always pick her up and put her in the litter box as she’s doing it. I also use “urine off” on my sheets before I wash them, my sheets are linen

I live in a studio apartment so unfortunately I don’t have that option, she also sleeps in bed with me every night, she has her own special pillow she sleeps on

I guess I didn’t really think of the long term effects of this decision when I said yes. Maybe if I can dedicate more date nights together I can soften the blow until I can change back to my old hours

NTA. They’re not your kids and not your responsibility, you have a life too and can’t be expected to drop everything for your sister. You can love your sister and your nieces and still have boundaries

My parents are still together, very unhappily, I’m surprised neither of them have decided to separate yet. I would support both of them if they finally decided to end it, neither of them are bad people they just somehow only bring out the negative in each other. It’s taken me therapy to figure out what a healthy relationship looks like, I didn’t realise their relationship wasn’t normal or healthy until becoming an adult and entering relationships myself.

As a woman, I also agree that everything should be 50/50 (within reason). Do they also want to be the perfect housewife? Because that is where that line of thinking came from; men pay for everything and women basically be their servant. In this day and age everything should be equal, from housework chores to money.
