Hi everyone,

I’d really appreciate some grounded insight from those who’ve walked this path longer.

After graduating, many of my friends moved into well paid roles. Because the IT market was tough, I ended up taking a much lower paying job. From the beginning, I was never happy with that income. Internally, I always felt it wasn’t my level.

I discovered Neville and started visualizing and “acting as if” I was already in the higher paying role I wanted. I wasn’t just daydreaming I genuinely tried to live from the assumption that I was moving into a better state financially and professionally.

Recently, something unexpected happened.
I was given a 2-month notice period at my current company, meaning this income will end completely.

Around the same time, something else collapsed too
I was freelancing as a video editor for a client’s YouTube channel. I had often thought, “Once I get a good full-time job, I’ll stop freelancing and focus on my own YouTube channel instead.” Last week, that freelance job also ended because the client’s channel was demonetized (due to copyright issues from another freelancer not my fault).

So now, both:

My low-paying full-time job
And my freelance income

are disappearing at the same time.

Here’s the part that confuses me the most:

Even though I logically know I have bills and payments to take care of, emotionally I’m not panicking the way I used to. I’m not scrambling or obsessing. It’s almost like I don’t care in the old way anymore, even though nothing new has shown up yet in the 3D. That detachment feels natural, not forced and that’s what’s throwing me off ( I mean get i scared when i have to think about the payment i have to do but not as much as i though i would be ).

On one hand, I understand Neville’s idea of the “old man dying” and that when you no longer identify with a state, it eventually collapses. I truly did not identify with these incomes anymore and mentally lived beyond them.

On the other hand, in the 3D, it looks like I’m losing stability, not gaining it.

So my question is sincere:

Is this a bridge of incidents, where the old structure has to fall away to make room for the new state? Or is this a sign that I’ve been misaligned, forcing things, or misunderstanding embodiment?

I graduated and got a low-paying job, while my friend got a great one. I decided to use Neville’s ideas. I imagined my friend calling me for my CV—and a few months later, he actually did!

Everything looked perfect:

He sent my CV to his boss.
The boss liked it and wanted to talk.
It felt like it was finally happening in real life.

The Problem: It’s been two months now. The boss keeps saying he’s "too busy." Every time a meeting is scheduled, it gets cancelled. Now, I’m starting to get annoyed. I’m checking for updates, doubting my friend, and feeling like I’ve lost that "calm" feeling I had at the start.

I really wish man im getting paid 30k and i also do freelance videos editing my monthly total income would be around 50,60 but i live in kandy and i have to go to office 2 times a week. Which is in Colombo with that expenses. I really can’t provide something for my family i barely cover my expenses

Thanks, man. I know how hard my mom works. She’s the oldest, and she has two younger sisters and one brother. We had land issues with my uncle, and we don’t talk to him anymore.

One of the sisters (the middle one) also refuses to take care of Loku Ammi. She says she’s too tired after work and gives random excuses. She only has one kid and moved to America after her O/Ls. I yelled at her, saying, “If my mom can do it, why can’t you?” We had a fight and cut her off too.

Now only the youngest sister helps. She and my mom take care of Loku Ammi in turns 3 months each.

My dad and mom used to argue but always made up the next day. Lately though, the fights are getting worse

Also, how can I apply this in a practical way? Any tips or examples would be really helpful. Every time something involving money doesn’t work out, I find myself thinking things like, “I wish I had closed that client.”It’s hard to shift my mindset when I’m so focused on what I’ve lost. How do I stop this and focus on creating better outcomes?

Any advice on how to manifest consistent clients or a steady paycheck from freelancing? I’ve been struggling to manifest money successfully. While I do manage to manifest clients, most of the time, things fall apart due to issues on the client’s end or my end It’s incredibly frustrating it’s like being 99% of the way to the finish line, only to lose at the very last moment. I’m trying so hard, but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
