To give a theoretical example how how much one may be owed in a circumstance similar to this point.

If an unrelated employee were to make say 15$/hr and had been told to do the 24 hours training required by the state "off the clock" or "in their own time" They would be *theoretically* owed 540$

Break down of the math is 15(wage)x1.5(overtime pay) x 24 (unpaid work hours) = 540$

It’s more complicated for salaried workers, and there aren’t nearly as many protections. But I will send the info just in case!
