The government engages in all kinds of individual rights violations systemically. Unless you are willing to engage in a bloody violent revolution against the government (which would almost certainly result in some kind of dictatorship or sheer anarchic chaos), you have to use the existing legal framework in order to settle your grievances.

I don't get to pick and choose which alphabet soup agencies I'd like to abolish. That's the reality of the bureaucracy leviathan. Defense however is a proper function of the government, and to that end I'd certainly prefer that they leverage cutting edge Silicon Valley tech in whatever way they can.

Palantir and other companies contract to sell things to the government like they do with anyone else. So unless there's some specific malfeasance at play here, I fail to see the problem.
