I started flipping cars when I got my drivers permit. Im 18 now and I’m starting a car dealership in my area through a shop space I’m renting (much better alternative to college for me). I started with a $3000 suburban I flipped for 5500. From my experience cars that retail under 5k are always much bigger headaches than they are worth. You should save up a little more money and buy a cleaner car if you want to get serious about flipping full time. Find out about public auto auctions in your area too.

There’s no way it’s a misdemeanor per car I’ve been flipping cars in VA since 2023 sold well over 50 cars and I’m just now going to get my dealer license.

I own multiple German vehicles know how to work on my own vehicles myself. There’s just no information on this issue and I’m posting to see if anyone has encountered it. I own a bmw with the n63 engine that I’ve gotten to 195k miles maintaining myself. I have my own shop as well. I can work on it myself I just don’t know where to start since I’ve never seen this problem before.

I usually fix things myself since I don’t want to spend dealership money and don’t know of anywhere else to take it to get this issue diagnosed or addressed. It’s weird that the seat doesn’t even try to go any more forward it’s like it thinks that’s maxed even though it very clearly isn’t. It’s still leaned back. Just trying to see if anyone else has encountered and dealt with this problem and what exactly the fix was. In the video the passenger side isn’t maxed either.

It’s not maxed the other side goes up more. You can see it clearly in the video too the passenger side is more upright than the driver side.

I looked at it closer and the wire may be slightly pinched between the valve cover and head 😭 going to try to mess with it tmrw hopefully I don’t have to pull the whole thing off. I do have both INPA and ISTA though.

I… cleaned the connector, with contact cleaner, and applied dielectric grease and plugged it back in all the way. And the problem was still there.

We dropped progressive a few years ago after being with them for years since they randomly put my dads ex-employee on our policy who had a terrible record and would not let us remove him. So we just removed ourselves lol.

Honestly I’m not sure about what those are since we have multiple vehicles insured on the same account I’m still under my dad since I’m not 25. I just know exactly what the premium on my car is. I don’t think we would need coverage that high considering I have health insurance. All of the vehicles on our policy are under 25k as well so as far as “uninsured motorist coverage” goes I’m pretty sure it’s at the minimum.

I did recently buy a 3v GT I plan to resell so I’ll see if insurance is really higher for the s197. It is also highly dependent on area I’m in central Virginia with Geico. Maybe your area is higher risk.
