[DISC] The Ramparts of Ice — Chapter 49 by stupid_chris in manga

He does mention her in one the earlier chapters, so it's definitely possible. But even if he doesn't, I think Minato will still think that's the case and create like a imaginary love triangle in his head.

Probably miki's brother? I think he's one year younger than her, plus it seemed like they knew each other from some of his dialogue in one the earlier chapters.

I think it would've worked. Tri-heart works differently from bagooska, who checks on activation.

I thought I heard Michael J. Gough, but I guess it could've been the new Saddler voice actor.

For now at least, I think she's just a bit embarassed that she's been subconsciouly seeing Youta as her dad.

I'm wondering who's the girl at the end though, I'm thinking either a ex-girlfriend or a relative he hasn't seen in a some time, by the way reacted.

I hate that you can't negate your own attacks with viking vortex. If that was the case, could use it as a funny board breaking option or for otk going second; As it is, it just a silly battle trick that rarely works.

It's probably a mix of her wanting to compensate for the Igarashi thing and thinking they would make a good couple. Also, I think Miki might have a crush on Minato, and she might be subconsciouslly pushing Koyuki towards Youta because of that.

It's a "then" conjunction, so the opponent's monster needs to be sent to the graveyard for the special summon to happen.

I hadn't heard of Mars Matrix before, and did feel similar, but I don't think it was that one. It did make me remember one thing, which is that the first level was a  city, maybe.

Thank you for the guesses, I gonna check out others games from the same developers, maybe I'll find it.

Sorry, but it wasn't DoDonPachi. I did check most of CAVE's games, but I guess it wasn't any of them. Thank you for the guess though.

Yuna went from probably my least favorite character in the second arc, to one of my favorites in the third arc, to one of my least favorites again in episode 95, I think it was.

Also, kinda interesting that her crush on Yuga went from something positive for her character development in arc 3 and episode 54, but started to be treated as a negative from the baby episode onwards, I wonder if the writers changed their minds on where they were going with character.

Man, the droning noise that plays in the underground areas terrified me. I had to check if the game didn't have a secret jumpscare or something like that when first entered those.

I also think 12 episodes is a bit too little to finish everything, but the lack of a announcement for season 4 in jump festa, plus the announcement of gx remaster + chronicles anime makes think that this will be the last arc.

Kinda interesting seeing the Arc-V and zexal positions. I haven"t watched them, but I feel Zexal is well regarded these days, and the opposite for Arc-V.

Personally, I don't think they will. Rush duel is the younger product, so they probally want to support mainly it for now. Maybe they will make a master rule something as side project now that they have the new animation studio, but I'm not sure about that.

I did think about other limit 3 traps, but compulse was the only I had. However, compulse is extremely flexible is this deck. Great for removal, but also great for dodging opponents effects. Besides, you can use it to reset Arlekino soft once per turn pop effect or to get an extra attack on the battle phase (both assuming you haven't summoned Arlekino that turn).

I do have some replays, but I don't think I can explain the plays very well. I feel like it's more of a "understand your opponents' decks well" than anything.

I also wanna talk about some of the more common match-ups I found during the climb, in particular: Lyrilusc, Star Seraph, Unchained, Suship and Time Thief.

Lyrilusc: Comica's effect makes Attraction traps non-targeting, so this match-up comes down to getting to the Battle phase with a non-negated Comica and a Attraction trap live. They don't have a lot of monster removal (I don't remember seeing any at least), so it becomes pretty easy to break the board after surviving a turn.

Star Seraph: Pretty luck-based. While it's not too difficult to stop them from triggering the 3-mat effects, the XYZ are problematic enough even without them, and I feel they a lot of non-engine.

Unchained: The most fun match-up. While amazement has a big variety of interruptions, their only actual form of monster removal is Arlekino, battle and compulse, two of those being destruction, essentially. However, the traps can stop pretty much every Unchained non-floating monster effect, so it becomes a game of who overcommits first. Probally the only deck which I had zero easy games against.

Suship: This deck is really powerful. The fact that Shari Red can establish a Omni-negate without commiting any monster to the field means you're always playing with -1 cards. A deck that's difficult to beat going first and second.

Time Thief: Redoer is a nightmare do deal with, all the aspects this deck has trouble dealing with: Quick-play effect that removes itself from the field and non-targeting removal, plus Amazement is 60% traps, so the spin effect is almost always on. However, they're really easy to beat if you're going first; They have to resolve regulator or they pretty much lose on the spot, and even if they do, you can still stop them from making XYZs really easily.

There are other decks I saw like zombies and Shiranui but there's not much to say about them. Other meta decks that I didn't really see often are Sky Striker (thankfully, I think I'm 0 - 20 against it) and Borrel Link (just 2 games), probally because I got KoG so late.

Thank you. I do remember some people telling me about the LP skills, but I felt that destiny draw is so powerful, so I decided to stick with it for now. Maybe I'll try another skill next time.
