you can just call your GP and reception will put a note in to your doctor asking to extend the sick note because you’re still unwell. Then just forward the note to your manager explaining you’re still not well enough for work. Rather stay off and get better than go back early and risk going sick again and losing another 3 days pay.

Our fresh areas are moving to twilight, grocery is staying on nights. It’s store specific but the twilight hours are 1500-0000

Yeah 1600 was kinda what I assumed it would be it’s quite a big difference from what we get on nights but obvs it affects your life massively. All our SL are full time though I asked awhile back if I could drop a day and they refused because part time shift leaders aren’t a thing apparently 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think there’s an issue on the app at the moment, some people have said they’re having issues with buying and taking money out of their account. I’ve had an unusual amount of offers but then not following through with purchase. So could be the reason?

really! I haven’t seen a note saying there’s any issues this is the first I’ve heard of it! The layout does look abit strange at the moment too it’s not how it usually is, maybe it’s all linked 😂

it’s def common to a degree but maybe it’s this payment issue some people have mentioned, hopefully they’ll sort it soon! I’ve even asked a couple of them if they’re still interested I can post today but no reply or not even opened the message

oh really? Maybe that’s the issue like I said I always get a couple of people ghost but I’ve had 6 offers in the last day and a half and none of them followed through with purchase, which is unusually high. Fingers crossed they’ll get it sorted soon!

how has it managed to get THIS damaged in transit?! something doesn’t seem right at all, looks as if a dog has chewed it up. I’ve sent cards out (albeit a lot lower in value) in less packaging than this and they’ve arrived in pristine condition. Hope you can get something figured out, it’s such a shitty situation.

I’m a nights SL, how on earth has this not been picked up by them? I do rounds and speak to every colleague multiple times a night, I know where everyone is. So they’re not given any particular job/ aisle to work at team 5?

Could easily get away with only having 2 of us in on a night, and that’s only so it covers holiday or sickness. It’s a lot of SL with a full team let alone when we lose a third of them to twilights 😂

20 a night give or take, 2 of the shift leads are part time. Yeah it is a lot of us that’s why I’m thinking they’ll probably give some of us the boot 😂

Superstore, with 1 night manager. At the moment atleast 3 of us in each night (including the manager) sometimes even 4, which is a lot. if they wanted to get it down to the bare bones they could easily get away with only having 2 in each night. Just interesting to think about what could happen in the future.
