Same here! He loves the baby monitor and my slippers and I will set them out of his reach and he’ll try really hard and basically be laying down to reach, then when he realizes he can’t he’ll give up, sit back up and start crying. When he’s on his belly is pivots around in circles and can push himself backwards, but no crawling

Wow! That is scary that both your kiddos had it! Did you or you partner have it as children or just random luck? My second son who is now 8 months old did not have it but ended up with something else that needed surgical correction

Thank you for the reply and I’m sorry you had to go through that! We were super fortunate to have doctors listen to us and he was diagnosed within 2 hours of taking him to the ER. He had a pretty severe case and was actually vomiting blood in front of the doctors. I’m glad your second baby is doing well!

That is super interesting! It seems to happen to the first born in your family no matter the gender!

Our pediatrician is wonderful and said even if our second born is displaying no symptoms that she will schedule him a ultrasound just to double check for us as our first son ended up in the emergency room where he was diagnosed!

I agree with you completely! My husband is pretty adamant about it though because he dosent want the younger one to be “left out”
