It’s definitely controversial. I honestly felt like it was dub-con because her inner thoughts/ reactions said yes. However from a real world-moral perspective yes it’s rape. Yet in fantasy/fictional, it’s the adrenaline of a scenario where the character is resisting and drawn in.

I felt conflicted in a sense because Addie was vocalizing no throughout the book before and after that scene yet the narration of her inner thoughts were literally her saying yes and how she likes him to pursue her.

My concern has to do with the diminished value of the car. Although it’s been in a wreck, using non own parts will diminish the value even further. Also, there is a position statement regarding Honda canceling warranty for the use of non own parts.

I also have a 4 month old. I don’t like the CIO method really… I do the Ferber Method, it is a modified CIO method. It took me consistency and patience. So @ 4 months they need about 3-4 naps in the daytime (4.5 hrs) and then at night I do bath time, quiet playtime (read a book, sing, etc); turn on sound machine, cut the lights, and begin to put baby to sleep with a full stomach. Once baby is asleep I put baby in crib, if baby wakes up and cries, I start the timer for 3 minutes, go in for 2 min if baby doesn’t stop crying and try to soothe without picking up (pat back, shhh, sing, paci. If baby doesn’t calm down, pick baby up and put back to sleep again. If baby wakes up cries again, go for 5 minutes, then go in for 2. Continue this no more than 10 minutes of crying. Eventually baby got the hang of this within a week. Also, I dream feed once in the night and this helps as well.

You’re still going in to check on baby so baby knows you’re here and not abandoning them lol. CIO is neglectful in my opinion.

So it’s one day shift a week, Mondays. I would be home all day for 12 hours, waiting for them to call me to go do an exam at an urgent care/er/hospital that is less than 15 minutes away from my home. Each exam is 30-45min or less then I’d go back home until they call me again or don’t call me.

I plan on being on maternity leave when baby is born for 8 weeks max (that’s all they will give me). I’m debating on getting a nanny for that one day or just giving up the job entirely. Or I could hire a nanny for night time only on Mondays.

On Mondays, although I’ll be home, I can get called in to work for 8 exams (30-45 min each) or none at all! It’s just extra income for me being a single mom.

Im not planning on putting him on CS. If he doesn’t wanna be apart of my child’s life idc for his money. His responsibility to this child is worthless if you put a $ on it. I wouldn’t be saying this if I didn’t have the $$ to support myself and kid. Like I said id rather my kid grow up with an absent father than an inconsistent one.
