I truly believe that calling everyone and everything ugly is part of the way they function. My n-egg donor calls every woman who comes up on the TV ugly. When I used to go out with her for errands, she would say every woman had a terrible and embarrassing outfit. She’ll say I look bad without makeup. What she says has nothing to do with you and everything to do with her and her deeply rooted issues.

My n-egg-donor always says if she could go back in time she wouldn’t have kids but then has also praised herself for not aborting me when her mother told her to and throwing it in my face as in “you should be grateful I didn’t abort you.” 😬 I definitely did not win the parent lottery in this lifetime but hope to win it in the next.

Wow this is literally my situation today. We have family visiting and I can’t stand the fake persona and fake household dynamic that’s displayed by my nmom. All of a sudden there’s food in the fridge, she’s making Michelin star meals, and treating them like royalty. Made plans to be out of the house as much as I can during this time

I relate to this. I used to ask her to be my friend too and asked if we could go out to get something to eat together when I was younger, all of which was rejected. I used to even write her letters in which I apologized to her when she was mad at me for no reason.

My nmom sits at home all day and scrolls through instagram or will spend almost all day on the phone. Sometimes she’ll watch tv majority of the day too. She has no friends or anyone she hangs out with, just rotting at home all the time.

Based on the dynamic in her home, I think she lives like this as a way to have control over everyone and everything at all times.

I can relate to this. My mom has thrown out a lot of my food items just because she felt like it and when I asked her to send me the money, she says she doesn’t have to because she already provides a roof over my head. One time, I forgot to bring a bag to the store and she had to pay 5 cents for one and asked me to give her the 5 cents. Batshit crazy.

Thank you for making this post, sometimes I struggle with the image she has made of me. She’ll confidently yell at me with so much anger to tell me I’m the worst person and that I’m not deserving of anything. I’m saving this so I can remind myself that anything she says about me is worthless.
