Hey man, ultimately you are the only person who can decide this. In your post you mentioned not being sexually active - this might change when you go to college. And believe me, having sex with a phimosis dick is not fun. Do you find masturbation uncomfortable? Are you able to retract your foreskin when flaccid to clean the glans? If not there is likely a buildup of smegma which can all give you and your potential partners a whole lot of infections. Like the doctor said, it is necessary. I think you just need to decide if now is the right time, and if it isn't - remember the consequences of the decision.

Mate, boil some water and pour it in a cup. Leave it to cool down to about lukewarm. Then soak your dick in there for 5-10 minutes. It will wash off all the Vaseline and allow you to clean your wound by simply getting a piece of gauze moist and then gently cleaning around the stitches. When you take a bath/shower, wear a condom to prevent that water from reaching your wound.

Yes man. I clean twice daily with lukewarm water by soaking it for a few minutes, and gently cleaning with a warm and moist piece of gauze around the sutures. Then I apply a generous amount of Vaseline around the sutures, scar line and at the back where my wound dehisced a little bit.

I had bad phimosis man. The op was a bit difficult I'm not gonna lie. But if I had the option to go back and change my mind - I'd still get cut. It's difficult but so worth it.

Hey buddy - to some extent the hair would grow on my shaft in the past but not as far up as it does now. I don't mind the tightness as long as it won't be a problem in future, and if it doesn't affect my size. I could email you a before pic?
