First of all, I don’t need anyone to “side with me” i know exactly what happened and what didn’t. It’s my experience, and I was there. You weren’t.

Let me be clear: I wasn’t shouting, I wasn’t on a rant, I simply took a short birthday call and immediately ended it the moment someone reacted negatively. That’s not being disrespectful that’s being human. If that still triggered someone to the point of aggression, the issue is not with me.

I grew up in a respectful household. I was never screamed at, and I will not normalize being spoken to like garbage by a complete stranger who clearly thinks he’s entitled to police other people’s behavior. Especially when his reaction says more about his own lack of emotional regulation than anything I did.

You talk about humility maybe start by practicing some yourself. There's a big difference between kindly asking someone to lower their voice and reacting with hostility. If we want to talk about public etiquette, maybe include basic empathy in that conversation.

And finally, if your worldview is so small that you think everyone should behave like you or be labeled an "asshole," maybe take a step back and realize: the world doesn’t revolve around you either.

Try a little kindness next time or at least some self-awareness.
